    maidana.

kotelnik beat alexander 116-112. first four rounds to alexander, the rest to kotelnik.

i had kotelnik beating maidana 115-114 (12th round even). but even in narrow victory, kotelnik's face looked like he got run over by a truck, while maidana's face looked untouched. but maidana took too many of the middle rounds off, so he lost.

Well according to the experts, judges, and press row, it was clearly Alexander. Some of these haters are clowns who just like to keep bullshyt up and hear themselves talk.

    maidana and easy.

the maidana fight, was a lot closer and maidana actually managad to hit kotelniks face, where as the hypejob alexander, seemed content on hitting gloves and thin air

I think this one i fairly obvious if not very obvious !!!

    Alexander

Why ??? because he beat Kotelnik , and Maidana didnt , Alexander was vehemently attacked for the way he fought Kotelnik , but i thought he was more aggresive , he was looking to take the fight to Kotelnik the whole time and was occasionaly getting through with good clean power shots , he was looking to land combo's where Kotelnik seldom did , he was busier in every round IMO than Kotelnik was , and all round i just dont beleive Kotelnik done enough to warrant taking the belts of the champion :deal

And then you have Maidana , who lost the fight , plain and simple , no contraversy , no scandal Kotelnik figured him out and boxed him !!!!

Exactly my thought. Although I must add that the reason he came off worse is because it was much unexpected.

Yes anyone that thinks Alexander didn't win 116-112 or 117-111 is a troll.
There was only one swing round where Kotelnik landed in the last 10 seconds and prior to that Alexander dominated him completely. That was the round the judges gave to Kotelnik to make it 8-4 Alexander. I thought it was clearly 9-3 Alexander after re-watching. It was not a fun fight to see again but that was the score and I am not a fan of Alexander.
Kotelnik can do ZERO moving backwards, counters with one at a time often just a jab and takes huge chunks of rounds off.

Thats a really really bold statement , id presume 2 things after reading this , you havent really watched the Alexander Kotelnik fight properly and you dont like Devon Alexander , it was a solid performance by a young world champion against a crafty seasoned world class challenger , he in no way LOOKED LIKE **** :huh:lol: , now if we are on the subject of looking **** , i think you may wanna look a bit closer to your boy Maidana in almost all of his fights particularly in the Kotelnik fight , where it was clear that he is a one dimensional fighter , if you can keep Maidana from landing his big right hand , you have the beating of him , he's not a great inside fighter and doesnt posses a great jab either , specially against Alexander & Khan , i do happen to think Bradley's jab is solid but he doesnt use it as much as he should IMO .

Kotelnik beat Maidana because he is a better boxer than Maidana and happens to have a water tight defence , Alexander beat Kotelnik because he was the busier and more aggresive fighter :deal

Maidana beat Kotelnik better than D.A and Khan. Maidana took the fight to A.K from start to finish and was robbed...
