UFC 121 is looking like this: Main Card Heavyweight Championship bout: Brock Lesnar (c) vs Cain Velasquez[1] Welterweight bout: Jake Shields vs. Martin Kampmann[1] Welterweight bout: Diego Sanchez vs. Paulo Thiago[1] Light Heavyweight bout: Tito Ortiz vs. Matt Hamill[1] Heavyweight bout: Brendan Schaub vs. Gabriel Gonzaga[1] Preliminary card Middleweight bout: Court McGee vs. Ryan Jensen[1] Middleweight bout: Patrick Côté vs. Tom Lawlor[1] Welterweight bout: Mike Guymon vs. Daniel Roberts[1] Lightweight bout: Sam Stout vs. Paul Taylor[1]
This PPV is looking awesome. Even the preliminary fights are better than some of the PPV's they've tried to sell us before.
Both are elite level wrestlers, in College Cain did very well against guys larger than himself.. Lesnar's shoot against Carwin, the one which lead to the finish didn't look that good to me.. But regardless, if Lesnar gets Cain to the ground he is going to be in serious trouble I think.. He needs to try and keep it a boxing match, stuff takedowns or take brock down himself and suffocate/gnp him a bit.
I agree, he will want to keep out from under Brock at all costs, but if he could mix in a few take downs, and actually get on top, he could win rounds. Very very hard to do though.
