Berto dosent seem to have lots of options at this time so fighting undefeated Aydin wouldnt be a bad move, but Berto may be concerned, he was chasing a fight with old Mosely where it was a win win situation, but Aydin is a young hungry fighter.
American based fighters havent looked good of late against European based competition of late ie
Alexander - Kotelnik
Dirrell - Froch
Jacobs - Pirog
Taylor - Abraham

This could be Bertos concern

 

i agree about him being slow and limited, but so was cosme rivera and he was able to hurt berto. i would expect berto to win, but it would be a good fight and i dont see that many better opponents that are available.

 

Unless Berto can get a big name or a shot at another title in a new weight class, he should just go ahead with the fight, knock this dude out & keep his title, which is all he has at the moment since he isn't much of a draw at all. BTW if he were to unify all these trinkets, I'm sure some one with a name would give him a fight.

that being said i have heard a lot of other posters say he is racist but like i say i dont bother with him so i wouldnt know.
