This has been a good year to save money as a boxing fan. :yep

Marquez-Diaz II has been the only value PPV.

Too many PPV events. It is ruining boxing. In the old days you have great boxing on free TV! ABC, NBC, CBS. Some fights were PPV, closed circuit, but fighters got exposure, were built up,so it was worth the money.

True. Hopkins-RJJ, Holy-Botha, and so on. On the other hand, it shows that the crisis is really over as they are charging 30$ to 50$ for completely useless fights ;)

Well, of course it is a PPV. That's the only avaliable outlet for fans that are interested to see the fight. Is it a PPV worth fight? Hell no. Is it an ESPN2/FSN/Versus type fight? Yea, definitely, but neither of those outlets will/would buy the fight, and HBO and Showtime were definitely not interested, so the fight goes to PPV. That should be common knowledge by now. I do agree though that this fight is definitely not worth being 30 bucks though. Vazquez-Sonsona was only like 14 bucks earlier this year and that on paper was a great fight. This fight should be around the 10-15 bucks as well.

I would not be surprised if a Pac/Void fight was $95! I can see that price coming. One day boxing will price itself out. However, Void will not sign to fight Pac, so I guess that is moot point.

For 29.95, Adamek will also throw in a shake weight. So you can tone while watching boxing.

I see that on my DISH, two separate channels are listed as having the fight. One standard definition, and one HD. But the price is the same for both, no extra charge for HD.

Agreed...should be free, but with the way things are in boxing today, it's not.

As for the price: Yes, $15 would be nicer, but you know they've done the calculations and don't figure to pick up at least 2x the buys at $15, as they would at $30.

My guess is that 75% of boxing fans who would order it at $15, will also order it at $30. After all, if you're really a boxing fan, specifically an Adamek or Grant fan, is an extra $15 going to stand in your way from purchasing the fight? My guess is "No" for majority.
