Frank Paines, (from some heavy Boxrec research) has a record of 11-0 with 10 KOs. However, he has also made this record mostly from fighters with no wins, as in 0, nilch, nada. Although his record looks good, its still a mismatch.

Despaigne's amateur record is impressive. I'm looking forward to see what skills he has.

    Round 1

Paines is relaxed, jabbing and moving but not really boxing defensively well when Despaigne lurches forward with looping bombs. Despaigne landing but not following up. Paines goes to the body a bit but continues to get tagged as Despaigne smacks him on the jaw yet again. A pair of hooks low and high back Paines up. Despaigne is now doing a bit of hopscotch while sticking his jab out, playing around.

    10-9 Despaigne

Paines is not a very shapr puncher..he hooks his shots a lot like allan green does. he also eats a lot of jabs, despaigne looks very comfortable on there with a really good jab. paines looks like a weight class lower fighter than despaigne
    10-9 Despaigne

    Round 2

A good deal of watching and circling in the opening minute after Despaigne does a little target practice with the hook. Paines down from a left hook. Despaigne starts to increase his output and crunches an overhand right home on the cheek of Paiens. Despaigne backs him up with a jab and then rips him with a hook as he's beelining away. Three punch combo lands for Despaigne and rattles the head of Paines.

    10-8 Despaigne

Desp lands some nice clean left hooks, paines looks stiff to me up top. he doesnt really move his head and then...bam down he goes just as i was about to say eh doesnt move his head enough.

Paines does not even flex at the waist. he is very easy to hit. paines better come with some power before long. He is getting his ass kicked in there right now.
Paines is a sucker for a left hook.
    10-8 Desp

Despaigne's defense is a little leaky, but overall I'm impressed with what I'm seeing. Has a mean left hook.

Yep, he's really stepping it up, soon he's gonna have to start taking on Calzaghe level competition. :D
