if true this will enhance Danny Greens reputation.

Danny will manage to earn back some respect if he does, but highly unlikely

Agreed. The 'risk vs reward' for Green would be too high.

Outside of a few courses of anabolic steriods, Green just won't be on a level playing field body-wise with these guys.

thats been circulating around for a while, would be awesome to see danny in it , not too sure if it would happen though, for imaginations sake, how do people see him going in a tourney like this? i see him winning 1 or 2 and then getting beaten by a cunningham or a close one with huck

Reckon he'd go okay other than for the weight. Green's already bulked up to get where he is now.

Green would probably be the shortest of this group. Cunningham and Enzo are about 3 inches taller for a start.

There's a limit to how much 'useful' weight you can put on any particular body and I doubt he can go much higher and actually benefit from it. Otherwise he'd already be fighting heavier, having attained the IBO crusier title.

you make a good point, no doubt he has enough power to bang with these guys, he just hasnt been physically granted to compete successfully in this weight division.

I very much doubt Green will be doing this.

He is looking for the biggest cash in the least fights possible...Cant see him fighting very long after next year.

Something like this will take a while to get off the ground, let alone finish..much like the current supermiddy one.

Agreed, and why Green seems to have virtually created his own sub-division between cruiser and super middle.

Luckily for Green, with the IBO's rules (or lack of them - no mandatories etc), the reigning champion seems to have the power to pull stunts like that.

I doubt he would ever fight under a German promotor again after the Beyer fiassco.

    what beyer fiasco?

the DQ was not the best but that wasnt a fault of the promotor was it?

the subsequent loss to beyer didnt have promotional difficulty did it?

No for the 2nd loss to Beyer, Green blames it on his weight loss to make 168 & not him being outboxed by Beyer.

exactly threw away the first fight with his own fustration, that headbutt was intentional and was stupid to do when overseas, if that happened to him in oz it would be exactly the same outcome and second fight he was just outclassed plain and simple...he wont be in this, thats just a pipe dream

Green is the only 'name' in there. They cant do it without him. If they can, and if i was danny, id wait it out, and flog the winner...

always excuses after the fight, he was schooled very easily and shown to be very one dimensional in that fight
