I mean where is this guy and why he isnst fighting anymore?
he took the title From Briggs, outboxed Holyfield but was outclassed against Wladimir.

Okay he made maybe about 5 Mil for the unification bout but why he is inactive or has he officialy retired? He could still compete with anybody right now besides...Yes, these 2 brothers IMO.

also had some good wins over Zuri Lawrence, Lance Withaker, Friday Ahuanya, destroyed Mora in 1 round and the Draw with Ray Austin.

would be interesting to know how people see him and how he would square off against the contenders nowadays.

He's probably still bending over with his arm stuck up in the air.

Yea he had a very defensive style but a Huge Left Hand. He is 35 now, i heard he had VISA problems in the States and problems with his Promoter.

I would really give him a shot today. He beat some BIG GUYS in Briggs and Whitaker with ease.

and dont forget his Chin, damn he took some heavy hands against Wladimir. and some Bombs from Holyfield without going down. i think he was down in his carrer once when Austin catched him with a Left hook.

He made a big payday in the Wlad fight, he got 50% of all revenues. He retired on that and last thing I read he is happily living in Moscow with his family, enjoying his riches.

For a long time after the fight he was still planning on making a comeback, but I think you're right about him retiring now. A few million dollars will go a long way in Russia

Its a shame he quit, he was one of my favourite fighters when he was around

Cashed in and got out. Not such a bad plan. Calvin Brock did much the same thing.

He knows that he reached his limit: he could beat some contenders (arguably fringe) in a very weak era but was never gonna hang with a klit (and would lose to a few others since) and it's better to have health and decent money retired at a young age

    He retired in 2009.

He was in the Top5, at least #6, when he had the WBO belt.

No. He's making a comeback because SNV gave him his sight. Why doesn't this get out? Probably the same reason Boggle's signature can't be seen.
