There's no point to this fight for Pacquiao. Mayweather already whitewashed him @ 147, Pacquiao would do the same.

Since Floyd won't fight Pac, his only options are Bradley and Berto.

    I doubt he can't make 140. He's only 5'6.

I don't know why so many people are so sure Pacquiao would destroy Marquez now...sometimes, no matter how great you are, someone has your number. Ken Norton had Ali's number - some say he beat Ali all three times. Tarver had Roy's number. Taylor had Hopkins' number...while I still think Pac would win, it won't be as easy as people think...

Well Roach said Pac has to cut meals to make 140 and Pac is loving the idea of full meals (I dont really believe Roach as Pac has cut 15lbs to make weight before, he'd only cut 9 to make 140.

For the life of me, I can't understand why Marquez gets NO respect on this board despite all he's accomplished and his near peerless boxing skills.

All I know is Marquez looked very fresh fighting Diaz a few weeks back, he looked nothing like a fighter on his last legs. He kicks Khan's ass and he gives PAC a great fight at 140, IMO.

Make a thread for every fighter Pac vs.

With the exception of Mayweather. Pac will win each vote by a landslide (not saying it's right but all his fans believe he blows out nearly everyone) So what's his purpose of fighting anymore?

JMM was gassed at the end, and really couldn't put away an inferior fighter. You actually think he could stand an onslaught like Pac at his ripe old age? He was GASSED against a powder puff like Diaz!

So would i, but i remember there was a thread a month or so ago specifically where quite a lot of posters were protesting at the Margarito fight and preferred the Marquez 3 option. It's really a personal preference issue.

BS, Marquez was in cruise control from the opening bell. That fight was never in doubt and he was NOT gassed during that fight.

So he would have to knock Diaz the phuck out a second time for you to give him his due? Never mind that he had Diaz seriously hurt and on the verge of a K.O TWICE in that fight. Is that how far the goal post has been moved for this man? Who the hell has unproven bums like Khan & Juanma beaten?

As far as the Pac fight, you're forgetting the 2 tools that made him competive in those fights: his counter punching ability and his accuracy, those skills enabled him to withstand Pac's onslaughts in the previous fights & they have not subsided.
