When Vitali retires, just wait a few years, and people will give him ATG status...
Time is always kind on fighters' legacy :D

What when Vit beats all the mentioned prospects: Solis, Adamek, Haye or whatever. I doubt he'd have problems beating them K.O. or even losing a few rounds.

Vit is already ATG since Lewis feared for a revenge and retired after. :patsch

So a guy who was getting his ass kicked the whole fight gets lucky by the grace of god that the right place on his glove struck Vitali and opened a cut. Its very easy to cop out and say well Lewis got the win, but you know what happened that night, you watched Lewis get his ass drilled jab after jab straight right after straight right, Lewis was getting beat and his glove opened a cut. You can't say just because he cut Vitali that makes Lewis the better boxer. You know what happened and you know what would of happened in a rematch and so does Lewis thats why he almost broke his neck to retire afterwards.

Byrd got his ass kicked that night you know it and Byrd knows it. He just better be glad Vitali hurt his shoulder even with a hurt shoulder he was still making Byrd look bad.

Byrd said that Vitali was the much harder fighter to fight than Vlad. Vlad beat Byrd two times and Vitali was easily out boxing Byrd with one arm. Vitali had over 2.5 hours of surgery after that fight because of his shoulder. It had nothing to do with Byrd. Vitali would have knocked Lewis out in the next round. Lewis did not like his very badly broken nose. It was Lewis who was badly staggered and hanging on to Vitali at the end of the sixth round. Even Max said that he had never seen Lewis flop down on his stool so badly as that night. Haters of Vitali have to make up things to make themselves feel better. Vitali is beating up all their heroes and they do not like it. Vitali a former six time world kick boxing champion, both pro and amateur. He would fight kickboxing fight and then fight boxing fight. Vitali loves to fight, always has. Vitali was five to one underdog when he fought Herbie Hide in London, England, he knocked Hide out in the second round. I thought Hide was dead! Haye refused to fight Hide. Haye refuses to fight Vitali. It is Haye who broke two contracts. The haters claim that Haye is the greatest heavyweight in boxing history, well.........so why is Haye running, hiding, lying, and trying to also duck his mandatory Chagaev? Lewis knows the truth, that's why he refused his largest payday to avoid fighting Vitali again. Vitali is not slow, has stamina, skills. Roy Jones said that his hook off the jab was fantastic for such a huge fighter.

    How did I get exposed?

Exposed would have been for me to praise vitali for the KJ fight which I never did after ripping Haye for trying to make it (which he never did...*****). so I didnt like that match up... doesnt take away from what Vitali has achieved.... Its just MY OPINION........ dont you get that dumbass!!!!!

for all you guys that said "vitali was a ***** for quitting" (against Byrd) you do know he came into that fight with the torn cuff. He came in and still tried to go until he just couldnt any more. Fritz wanted to wait... Vitali wanted to fight... sounds like a warrior to me

Vitali and Vlad are both great warriors within a ring. It is simply a moot point to say which is the better of the two. They respect each other very much and will never fight. Did anyone ever ask Spinks to fight Spinks?

So he came into a fight with an injury and didn't have the willpower to continue on for the last remaining rounds while being well ahead on the scorecards? Exemplary example of a warrior unless you have low standards.

    This is a warrior...

knowing he was ahead on the fight goes to show you the pain he must have been in.

you ever hurt let alone tear a cuff?. Worst pain I have EVER felt and mine was not a full tear. You simply CANNOT move with out serve pain.... until we have been in Vitali shoes and done what he has done, IMO none of us have the right to question his toughness
