Are we supposed to believe the fellow who took BALCO steroids is the innocent party in this matter.

After reading that Thomas Hauser article that someone linked about a week ago, I'm not so sure he cheated the a lot of people think he did IE: plaster covered inserts.

I think he used knuckle pads that were old and hardened from sweat from previous fights. They weren't plaster hardened but they were stiffer and hard than they were supposed to be. And I think he did know because it was one of the sneakier, more underhanded ways to cheat the system. For the purpose of this poll, sure. it's possible he didn't know that Capetillo was using the old, harder knuckle pads. I think he knew though.

I've had my hands wrapped at least 200 times from the age of 11. Each guy has their own technique, but they are all basically the same. Although some insist on a roll in the palm before the wrap begins. Now, Iv'e also had casts and splints applied to my fists at least a dozen or so times, and I watch them dip the plasterized gauze and then apply it to the wrap, then rewrap. The plaster hardens with the splint, and your basically walking around with bricks at the end of your wrist, and my friend Chris can attest since he begged me to hit him with it, and in a drunken stpor I obliged.

As for Margs claiming he didnt know. **** him. He's had his hands wrapped thousands of times, by dozens of trainers and helpers, and he knew what was going on since he's had that same plaster gauze as I have. He knew, he just got caught.

Fukkin pathetic. I cant wait till Paquiou punishes his ass.

i still attest that whilst i have no actual boxing experience, i doubt how someone as experienced as margo could not know this was going on, not just that but that capitello would concot this plan himself.

if cali and nevada vote against him there must surely be something conclusive out there?

This explains part of it, the pads were hardened and very well could have been from sweat being old pads, but there is no excuse for having inserts tucked in the middle, which is something that his trainer put in, I dont think Margarito knew what was put inside the pads..

What I can say is that rumors surfaced that Tony came into camp 180 plus pounds with 6 weeks to make the weight, with his trainer knowing this likely his trainer didnt want to risk Mosley having something left and I think thats exactly what happend here....

Unless he's been getting his hands wrapped like this his entire career.

You put your shoes on for 1000 times, if someone puts something in your shoe you'll know its off 1001.

Now granted, the inspector missed it, and maybe out of loyalty Margarito didn't want to out who put the stuff in his gloves if we assume he somehow missed didn't notice.

But I'm hard pressed to believe that someone who has been boxing their entire life didn't notice that their hand wraps felt a little different than usual. Also when you consider the fact that the 2 blocks had blood on them.

And the commission's make it very clear what belongs in the gloves and what doesn't(Tape and Gauze).

There are ways to harden gauze as our friend Bernard Hopkins told us, but what he had in his gloves wasn't gauze so that is a moot point anyways.

I was sitting in traffic court one day when this young, dumb peckerwood approached the defendant's table. The judge asked him how he wished to plead to the charge of "conducting a speed contest."

Now this is the honest to God truth. The kid said, "Nah sir -- we wadn't conductin' no speed contest. We wuz just racin'."

I honestly do not believe Margarito is a whole hell of a lot smarter than that kid. He is caught up in something he does not have the intelligence, the guile, or the communcation skills to handle effectively, and his legal team sucks!

Even if Margarito is that stupid and was to say to the commission, "No Ma'am I wasn't trying to hurt Mosley with the plaster, I was just trying to win the fight like Mr. Arum told me to" He is still guilty as ****.

At least you admit you have no knowledge of wrapping a fighters hands The CSAC hasnt either except for the one man that voted for reinstatement . Yet they denied Tony his licence

Tony Margarito was a marked man from the night he kicked Miguel Cotto's ass when he wasnt supposed to win. They couldnt beat him fairly so they railroaded the kid.
What the CSAC have done is nothing short of criminal
