Agreed. Unlike most sluggers, his defense is pretty good, his styleis very effective for his body type.

 

Chin only lasts so long , ask Hatton , once its cracked there is no going back. If Froch's best defence is his chin and not guard then he will not win the super six

 

Disagree about both of their technical abilities very much. Very up for the fight though.

 

to be honest, they have both good technical abilitys. froch is akward and sloppy and slow, thats why he looks like ****. abraham has very good technical ability, he shows it allways when he goes for the ko, he is never swinging like some of you say, he is trying to get his opponent in the best position to knock him out with precise punches to the body and head, and then he varietes between straight punches, hooks and uppercuts.

 

Just shows how pathetic today´s boxing is.

 

What are you talking about! Froch is the greatest and most sleakest fighter ever to lace up the gloves! If you cannot see his movement rivals that of SRR then you have no business on this forum!

 

Froch is not sleak, but he has what would be called intangibles.

Mainly the fact that he is built like an orangutan. This superpower means that he can hang with fighters that are faster and sleeker than him.

 

I've cracked on Froch plenty, but really, fighters like Froch, Darchinyan, those awkward types who are at championship level, I think they often have their technical abilities overlooked because they look so awkward. But I do think he knows what he's doing far more than given credit for.

 

Hatton's chin was always shaky.

 

Both guys have techinical skills. Froch chin aint that great and neither is his speed so there must be some way he doesnt get KTFO. Abraham has that tight guard but is a bit plodding. Nearly all fighters at this level have skills, some alot more than others.

 

Yep Ricky Hatton proved what limited boxers can achieve, what people like him Froch and Abraham lack in boxing skills they make up for in fighting skills. A better boxer will only beat a great fighter if he can deal with being rushed, beaten and mauled. If they cant then alot of what they do is guna be nulified.

Dirrell and Ward have shown themselves to be the elite boxers of this competition but Froch and Abraham dont go away and wont go away and their fight is guna be the most brutal and exciting of the lot.
