    And rightly so.

Edit: Not many of them having 2 (separated by 10 years period) careers ending on top of the HW division (one of them being arguably in the GOAT era) out there.

Yes, and rightfully so. Only Ali and Louis should be above Foreman on a pfp HW list.

Fitzsimmons won 3 world titles in 3 different weight classes between ages 27 and 40, a time period during which he only legitimately lost to 220 pound Jim Jeffries.

If this is correct Fitzsimmons was not even considered or anyone else who fought before the year 1922.

I don't understand why it's contraversial to have him over Frazier at all, or even Fitzommons really.

You can speculate about head to head untill the cows come home, but it is only speculation.

What is fact is that Fitzsimmons was the only fighter ever to establish lineage at middleweight, heavyweight and lightheavyweight.

That puts him leagues above Foster pound for pound, and speculating that Foster could KO him just by looking at him wont change the fact.

To be fair though, George Foreman was too big to win world titles at middleweight and light-heavyweight.

When I left this thread before, I thought it was a p4p thing and not a heavyweight thing. I'm too lazy to go and look though. Damn laziness. It's crippling.

Pretty good reason ,don't you think?
Personally p4p, I would have Fitz above him ,but certainly not Frazier.

    He did beat Fraizer twice.

It is going to be interesting to see which Leonard they pick for L.
My vote would be for Benny.

L should be an interseting one. In that catergory you have Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Leonard, Benny Leonard, Jose Legra, Jake La Motta, Sam Langford and Lennox Lewis all of the top of my head - so theres probably more. I reckon they'll go for Louis but it could be close with Leonard
