    From the scene:

    Remember how people were ripping into the Klitschkos for "bad contracts"? Sauerland just now delivered the truth, their previous statement was just another lie. Povetkin didn't train as he was mourning the death of his father. Fair enough, but he could have simply told the world he wasn't ready to fight a bit earlier couldn't he?

    Instead Sauerland ran around screaming the Klitschkos offered a slave contract. And a bunch of guys here on the forum actually jump on the bandwaggon, swallow that non-sense excuse and run their mouth "Oh look, we knew it all along, the Klitschkos always use slave contracts" :lol:

    The fact is Povetkin did not train nor did he want to box :deal

    It is a shame. Lie after lie from Team Povetkin, a shame.

    If this is true Povetkin should have given up his mandatory status. Just simple and not play these games with the fans and the Champ.

    The IBF did it the right way, not because of Atlas, because Povetkin did not sign the contract between 15 days from purse bid.

    Atlas was right , he was not ready. no need to go into details and have the boxing world talk about the death when Povetkin is in mourning.

    Anyone remember this little tidbid from Sauerland founder Wilfried Sauerland from late July?

    Son of a ***** liar. Povetkin seemed to need time mourning the death of his father, all this had nothing to do with a "slave contract".
