Folks, I'm hearing through the grapevine that team Adamek is seeking Lance "Mount" Whitaker as a near future opponent... Why?? Would a fight between "Adamek & Whitaker" even sell here in the USA or in Europe?? I think Tommy Adamek is a fine fighter and a hard worker on the heavyweight rise and he needs his activity, but can Adamek possibly gain or learn anything by beating up a monsterous, but slow as a snail dude like Lance Whitaker.?.? Lance Whitaker has lost recent decisions to Jason Estrada and Ollie McCall... Where is Whitaker really going in 2010? Anyway, who approves of Tommy Adamek fighting Lance Whitaker? And if so, please justify this to us all here in the forum.... C'mon back.... MR.BILL:hat
Adamek is allowed to fight as many no hopers as he feels necessary. In the event the fight materializes, and Whitaker manages to win a round or two, expect people, particularly those lacking common sense, to champion Whitaker to contender status.
I have read it a couple times. He wants to prepare for tall fighters. However, Adamek should try to get a fight with Haye. I don't think Haye will fight Adamek but it would be worth a try. Sign contract and then Haye will go hide!
I like how this paragraph starts out with crisp and complete sentences and then just completely degrades as Farmy starts talking about Haye and experiencing meltdown.
I know Lance Whitaker is a kool dude to chat with and tries to project a + image in public, but I think his skills and speed stink, and his power is not as great as it should be for a mammoth dude like he is.... I can't say that I'll buy that Whitaker is better in 2010 than Michael Grant.... However, I'd find "Whitaker-Grant" as an interesting match to be made.... SR.BILL:hat
It just happened, BILL. Despite Grant looking about as shot as one could expect the other night, people have suggested he has a future in Boxing now that he won a few rounds against The Psycho Killer. Nonsensical.
mount whitker is klitschko size but not as good, pretty simple, obviously they dont feel he is ready so fighting guys like grant, whitaker etc.. to get used to the size
Part # 2 will never happen, but # 1 was a goodie...... Holy and Botha had to be bothered a tad that they fought in Vegas at the Thomas and Mack center in front of + or - 2,500 fans.... The goddamn place holds 18,000 when packed for a concert...... Still, the initial fight was good..... :deal MR.BILL:hat
I see that point..... But, once again, I hate / despise seeing old heavies on the decline getting good $$$ to go ahead with a fight against a man that they cannot beat cuz they lack speed, talent and skill.... Lance Whitaker fits these shoes well..... Of course he'll take the job and payday, but does he really give a rats ass if he wins in 2010??? That part I doubt.... MR.BILL:hat
To prepare for Klitschkos? Who is Adamek supposed to fight and midget? Now, if only Haye would get the courage to fight Adamek...............
