Why did Pacquiao change his mind and agree to testing?

Because Mosley gave the blood testing credibility. Which is why Mayweather's stance grew stronger and Pac's stance bent.

I don't care about "calling out". The "risk" seems to be that the Mayweather camp think that Manny cannot perform the feats he has without some sort of help from PED's. Several other fighters that Mayweather has fought have moved up from other divisions to fight him. The latest being Marquez who had to gain 19 lbs.. Where is the accusation against Marquez for that kind of quick weight gain and all muscle? There was no fear from the Mayweather camp that Marquez would be a problem.

The fact is that Mayweather says he would fight anyone. He is the best ever. The unquestionable BEST EVER's are the Ali's who fought prime Frazier, Norton, Foreman...The Robinson's who fought prime LaMotta, Turpin, Fullmer, Basillio...The Ray Leonard's who fought prime Hearns, Benitez, Duran and the list goes on. They scrapped, they got knoced down, they got cut and they gutted it out when it was all on the line. I am not saying that Floyd has to do any of that if his skills will prevent it but why not fight the best, the most eligible contenders? Floyd passed on Margarito and Cotto when they were prime but he can take the fight with Pacquiao whom many feel can beat Mayweather. Really, a champion and self proclaimed "BEST EVER" shouldn't take this much effort on behalf of promoters to get him to prove it.

He hasn't agreed. That is why there is no fight.

The perception is the reason why the fight didn't happen the first go round was b/c of the cut off situation. But there was NO gurantee had Manny accepted that the fight was gonna go ahead. When the 14 day cut off was offered it was AFTER mediation completed and by that time Bob was looking at TX and Josh for Manny's next fight since Floyd created the obstacles in getting their fight solidified.

I think it was clear Manny didn't feel he had to meet Floyd BEYOND the half way mark as he already was. Based on the allegations Floyd and company created Im sure Manny wasn't too pleased to have to negotiate the demands Floyd came up with as a way to VALIDATE the accusation that he couldn't support with any evidence or proof.

The only out of the norm request that Manny asked for was the weight penalty which was just as ridicoulous as Floyd accusations and demands. Other than that the ring size, glove size and venue were all MUTAL AGREEMENTS between the two.

Nah homie.....There should and there already is DRUG testing in place for all professional fighters. Why should we abolish any and all drug tests just b/c Floyd is demanding Manny take SPECIAL and ADDITIONAL tests that were never asked by him for any of his other oppoenents?:huh

    You aren't really making sense!

Exactly....the boxers who make up this sport who've been caught were caught under the CURRENT drug testing protocol which for years has sufficed. But all the sudden Floyd wants to "clean up the sport" and single out the man he's been down playing for years? Talk about suspect!:rofl

Obviously Manny REALLY wants to fight Floyd in the ring. And he's willing to go above and beyond what any expects to make this fight a reality. So that means MANNY has to make the concessions to eliminate holes where Floyd could avoid the fight like he has.

With the allegations......demands......purse split and his vacation obstacles the perception is "Money" doesn't think the MONEY this fight could generate would outweigh the risks of having to take Manny on.

    Here's one:

If you had a snow balls chance in hell to smash Beyonce, would you?:

    1. Jump on that like the world was coming to an end
    2. Think about it and call her PR rep to tell her that you'd get back to her or....
    3. Demand Beyonce be HIV Tested in order for you to take advantage of that fine peice of woman?

    What should you do?

The chances of that **** happening are slim to none but if that did happen WHY WOULD ANYONE THROW UP OBSTACLES THAT COULD PREVENT THIS SITUATION FROM HAPPENING?:huh Floyd anyone?

    :!:

No, what's silly is that wonderful Alabama alum Glen Coffee quitting on the San Francisco 49ers...that was about as silly as a $3 dollar bill OR the self-proclaimed GRATEST (intentionally mispelled) BOXER ever asking for OSDT against a fighter he's characterized as being EASY to beat. Whose had to TEAR down Pacquiao just to bring himself up... PATHETIC and silly... LOL! :hi:

Manny doesn't want to fight Floyd, plain and simple. Every time he was asked after fights he always said "uhmm oh well" talk to my promoter. The reporter asked what you wanted not your promoter.Mosley and JMM both called Floyd out and got matches with him , they didn't hesitate
