    i give berto the edge right now but i like cannelo so i give em a shot

    IIRC, alvarez got semi rocked by cotto so im sure berto would take care of him,, even at 154. Still i like el canelo and hope him the best.

    i think berto would edge him. but itd be close. sauls a very efficient fighter. he knows how to win.

    I dont think Alvarez is ready for someone like Berto right now , and im not a massive fan of Berto TBH :deal i think Alvarez is getting a lot of un warranted hype , which can only be bad for him , he looks good yes , but i wouldnt be putting him in with the big boys at least for another 18 - 24 months ........... he's just a baby at the minute .

    Berto, while possessing immense strength, tremendous hand speed and good pop, isn't as hard of a puncher as advertised. Against the upper echelon at 147 or 154, he'll have to rely on combinations and flurries to drop guys.
