I believe the next big fight for Pac that can be made with minimal demands is with Marquez. This is Pac most competitive fight in years and I think this fight can be a huge draw and a fight that fans would have alot of interest.

It would generate a **** load of interest, but from Pacquiao's perspective you have to ask...is it worth it?

Because despite everybody calling for this fight to happen, a recent poll/thread here on ESB showed Pacquiao would still recieve no credit for beating Marquez and finishing things. And I honestly don't blame people for thinking that. Ideally this should have taken place before Marquez's ridiculous 12 rounds against Mayweather. But even then Pacquiao would have probably laid the smackdown on him. Since their last meeting the two have gone in opposite directions - Pacquiao has gotten stronger and improved immensely, whilst Marquez has unfortunately faded physically.

Pacquiao/Marquez III = a no win situation for Pac

(Not to mention, Schaefer/Marquez's laughable demands of 50/50 and extensive drug testing)

Well Said....However, here is where I would disagree with you. I don't think people/posters are screaming for Pacquiao to fight Marquez as much as they're disapponted that Pacquiao is choosing another fighter that offers him NO CHALLENGE. Clottey was already a SLAP-N'-DA'-FACE of fight fans...and the fact that he was coming off a loss and held NO belt, And Basically stood in the middle of the ring and DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR 12 ROUNDS. Yet people think Mosley "threw" the fight...REALLY???

Another poster (Samski) asked a great question. How does a fighter with NO License managed to get a fight with the #1 P4P FIGHTER IN THE WORLD...REALLY? I can see if he was fighting to take a title away from a title holder, but this fight is for a Vacant Strap.

Look...I will be the first to admit the Manny Pacquiao is the Baddest Mutha'fuka' on the Planet P4P #1...NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. I just wanna see Pacquaio fight another FAST, ATHLETIC, SkILLFUL FIGHTER. Example...When the Pac/Floyd negotiations broke-down the first-time...Posters were ready to ERRUPT if Floyd fought a fighter that offered him NO CHALLENGE. And they (everyone) wanted him to fight a WORTHY opponent. And while "Team" Pacquaio chose to fight Joshua Clottey, Floyd was put in a position to fight a Future HOFamer, and Lineal Champ.
Now, can you really say to yourself that Antonio Margarito is a Worthy Opponent to face the #1 P4P FIGHTER IN THE WORLD????

Pac doesn't have the balls to face JMM right now while a Mayweather fight is still on the table. Only way it happens is if Pac loses an upcoming fight within the next year and a half.

Pac fought Cotto while the Mayweather talks is at its highest (at the same time Mayweather fought Marquez at WW) . Can you honestly say Pac cares about Mayweather when choosing his next opponent. :patsch:patsch

Pacq fighting a Not Top Rank fighter has no bearing on anything Floyd related. No Not Top Rank fighter will be "allowed" to beat Emmanuel.

And Marquez whups Emmanuel even if he comes in 20 pounds lighter. He's simply a much much better boxer than Emmanuel.

What weight do you want this fight to happen at? Do you think Marquez can compete with Pac at 147? I don't. Pac definitely is not going down to 140 to meet him.
