Dont know what happened to the original. But it'd be interesting to see peoples original opinions about this kid. I know that most figured him the weakest fighter in the tournament, some like booradleys dumbass were predicting him to be ruined by tournaments end. Now he's considered the 2nd best fighter in the tournament and many are predicting him to beat Andre Ward. It was me and Samski and maybe a few others that actually felt he'd win the whole damn thing.

Things can change alot in one boxing year. :yep If you're on board for the rest of the way or have been on board from the beginning "We sons of Michigan salute you!"

I'm on this train, and have been since the Abraham fight. That performance blew me away, and since then I've seen a good few more of his fights. He's raw, he's relatively inexperienced, he makes mistakes, and he seems to lose focus/composure at times... but none of this detracts from the fact that he has great ability. I consider myself a fan, I scored the Froch fight to him by 2 points so he should be in a better position in the Six, and I think he has a good chance vs Ward, but even if he loses and goes out, I still think he will have a great career anyway, he just needs time to mature a little.

Agreed. All he is missing is the mental aspect. Which just so happens to be the most important part. Which is why I give the edge to Ward right now.

He schooled Froch, imo. The only constant during that fight was Dirrell's glove smacking Froch's face, so much so that the pro Froch crowd was silent the majority of the fight. The man easily won 8 or 9 rounds and people are throwing out ridiculous excuses to give credence to what was an outrageous robbery.

"Oh he ran too much" - He was moving and tattooing the shyt out of Froch at the same time, it's not as if he just had all this movement with no activity.

I don't think he's raw, he's the most skilled fighter I've seen in the tournament. He does loose his composure at times.

Whenever Abraham hit him, Dirrell went back after him. I think he looked mentally stronger in that fight than he did in the Froch fight, where his behaviour was a bit strange (but he still managed to dig in and win the fight in my eyes).

I know where you're coming from, but I think Dirrell is going to improve in every way with every fight, including improving his mental strength. By the Ward fight, he could be ready. I don't think Ward is as intimidating or as powerful as Abraham or Froch, although he is of course much more talented.

Been a fan since the Anthony Hanshaw fight...I've seen him grow up before my eyes...With each fight since I've first started watching him...He's getting better and better.

Cant lie though...His performance against Curtis Stevens was rather painful to watch but he's been doing a whole lot better since that fight...I expect great things out of him.

You forgot to add the video where he takes a dive and cries like a girl.

    American-level cheat in my opinion.

:patsch I would love to see you get hit in the face while on your knees, defenseless...by one of the hardest hitters in boxing today...I would love to see how manly you would be if you were to act like a man after that.

You people kill me with this garbage...You dont have to like but dont go around spreading bull**** rumors like its actual fact!

WHY DONT YOU PROVE HE WAS ACTING!:verysad

I like Dirrell. Was rooting for him big time against Froch (Who I hate). I like both Ward and Dirrell (Probably Andre a little more). This next match is going to be tough but he has the favorably style in the fight, I think. I hope the devastating and cheap KO he suffered from Abraham doesn't mess him up too much. Physically, but especially psychologically.

How the **** can you hate Froch?! You're out of order...... :dead

Unlike when you had a seizure when I said I hated Malignaggi, I don't have the interest or energy to react in such a manner when someone says they detest a fighter I have a lot of respect for.

My favorite from start to finish and is still my favorite to win it all. I think he is the best SMW out there. I've already been convinced that he is the most talented.

    physical talent... check

    technique.. check..

    mental, composure etc.. fail..

so far, he has beaten a smw midget in AA and lost to froch. To me the jury is still out, had the ****er been a ward type of character, he would cause havoc from 168-175.

Dude took a dive because he was getting caught up to by Abraham.

Just my opinion don't have to agree.

Funny how it's the national sport of ESB to laugh at Kermit Cintron (Kermit the Frog jokes all round) yet Dirrell seems to get a pass.

Anything to do with nationalities I wonder?

Like I say, not a fan of Dirrell's, he lacks heart and like Ward will look to cheat his way to a victory before fighting his way - not what I watch boxing for.
