The Toney-Calzaghe analogy doesn't make sense-no disrespect since Toney went on to heavy.

PAc's level of comp is about the same as Floyd's if you go name for name. Both fought guys in their prime and guys a bit past their prime. PAc's resume is not blowing Floyd's resume away at all. This is where Pac's fans get it twisted. Winning is what counts, not how you win...that's for fans to decide.

I factor in everything from comp to wins, to skill and lastly wins and losses. Floyd comes out ranked higher than PAc imo...

 

Outside of Hatton, none of those guys looked old when they fought Floyd.

 

People really don't realize that PAc is at a size and reach disadvantage against Floyd imo of course lol... Even if you want to say their speed is about the same, or that PAc hits harder...Floyd is fast, and he can punch himself.

Many Pac fans don't realize that Floyd is not going to just sit back and cover up like PAc's last few opponents did-with the exception of Cotto. Floyd uses the jab, attacks the body, and makes you miss, and he can punch with either hand. By round 6...if it goes that far considering either man can catch the other...Pac won't be throwing 100 punchers a round. I can guarantee Pac will be satnding flat footed, and that is where he gets his ass whooped by Floyd imo.

If PAc can out tough Floyd, I will call PAc one of the very best who ever lived, and I have no problem saying that...I just don't think PAc can out tough Floyd.

For people say southpaws give Floyd problems, Floyd won. they say Judah and Corley don't hit harder than PAc. What YOU the fan does not understand is that PAc and Floyd will be highly motivated, and that makes a difference in any fight...so the "if he lands this, Floyd or PAc is done" mentality does not apply. Floyd has been hit hard by a southpaw, and a right handed fighter and stayed upright.

Pac has troubles with boxers. Pac lost to Morales, and JMM gave him trouble along with Hussein, and A. Sanchez. Pac learned from the Morales fights how to adjust to a boxer. My opinion is that PAc has never dealth with anyone as fast as him.

Floyd tko in 10 because PAc will either run into something or be too lumped up by round 10...

 

Floyd has more championship fights and has fought more fighters who were champions at the time they met.Clearly Floyd's resume is better.When you factor in the variety of styles he has faced,it becomes clear who is the more diverse fighter.Pacq had better continue to avoid textbook boxers and stick to brawlers.

 

A fight is a fight. He got bullied by Collazo, and out fought by Floyd. Maybe 147 wasn't his weight class, but he won a title at 147, and lost to the best fighter in the world-at 147...not bad.

 

It was his class because there was nobody as good as Collazo at 140.

Who cares if DLH weighed less than PAC.....he still got the business where Floyd struggled. So if you want to say he was drained "OK"....but that just means taht PAC did what he had to do and Floyd FAILED to dominate a SHOT fighter.

A LOT of fighters go down in weight and some have success. It really depends on the fighter. Henry armstrong use to go up and down successfully....so does Paul Williams even the great Ray Robinson. So yea...it happens and the truly specail fighters seem to be able to do it without much problem.

Roy couldn't do it but most of his downfall came with age...losing reflexes and that was accelerated by having to DROP a lot of muscle in a short amount of time. Don't be such a ****ing moron kid. At least TRY to show signs of intelligence. I know it's hard for you.

DLH had the advantage going into the fight and I'm sure you bet on DLH to clean Manny's clock as did I. Don't lie you cornball ass *****! I know you bet against Manny or didn't give PAC a shot. And I think that may be the only thing we had in common! Thank GOD!:rofl

Did you see the Collazo fight with Rick?:rofl Obviously NOT! Sure Rick won....but it proved he wasn't a force nor belonged on 147! If you bring up **** to support your case make sure it's something that will help you out....not prove how stupid you are.

Could you be any MORE dense? Ricky's fight night weight has little to do with fighting at his MOST comfortable division. You do understand that MOST smaller men shed weight to fight in a lower weight class so they have ADVANTAGES right! Ricky as a Jr WW has MORE advantages than Ricky at 147 for OBVIOUS reasons regardless of what his fight night weight is.

Having Faced Floyd at 147 and only gaining a few pounds by your logic means Ricky must have been DRAINED!atsch And b/c he gained 10 or 12 pounds for Manny, Rick must have been rehydrated properly:roll:

I hope Floyd does go toe to toe! I won't be to his benefit but it will be for the fans! And I see that happening with or without Floyd's consent!

Floyd's footwork isn't much better than PAC's if at all actually. He's got great footwork but PAC's in my opinion is better. Slightly.

I think Floyd will TRY to make it a tactical fight where he is controling the distance but Manny will be able to get to Floyd and who knows...>Floyd might be a willing participant in a fire fight. he'll quickly switch gears if he does go that route after seeing what's in store for him with that game plan.

And I do see Floyd dominating some rounds and I see PAC dominating rounds. But those rounds each men dominate are going to be telling and vastly different. For Floyd, the rounds he wins he wins by controling the distance and keeping PAC off with the jab to the body and head and may be able to catch Manny with the lead right on occassion...it's a lot harder to do with a lefty.

For the rounds Manny wins he'll be beating Floyd up and chasing him down but I don't think PAC can get the KO.

Manny will for sure control the PACE or the TEMPO as you stated. PAC will eat some shots and it will allow Floyd to keep control of the distance part of the fight...but I think the pressure and dynamic offense of PAC will begin to wear Floyd down phyiscally and mentally.

I'm not hating on Floyd for not being the exciting boxer Manny is. Floyd has his own style that works well for him and it is beautiful in those moments when he opens up, but I don't think it will be enough with Manny.

Manny is gonna have a hard time....Floyd's time is gonna be MUCH harder. Which is something Floyd has never been through. I don't see anyone getting a KO....so for those who said Manny wins in 1 round and is garbage....atsch But everyone has their own opinion.

I laughed at all the folks who said Manny would dominate and KO Ricky within 3 rounds myself. Anything can happen in boxing.
