Majority of the post are excellent comments, I think that fights would fight but the business end of boxing is horrible. I bet there would be better fights if it was winner take all. Maybe do like Jones and Hopkins, 50/50 or 60/40 if someone gets there ass knocked out.
Any real boxing fan knows styles make fights. Shane was out of his element fighting PBF. Mosley like Pacquiao are brawlers who are most effective in exchanges when their superior handspeed and athleticism give them the better of exchanges. Both guys never had to out think and adapt to their opponents hence why Mosley looked like trash against Floyd. When it comes to checkers, both Manny and Shane are great. When it comes to chess. There's only one who's elite at that game and that person is PBF. If Manny and Shane fought it would be much more exciting than if either man fought Floyd since they're both the same element of fighter. I know the world favors and loves Manny over Floyd but these same people would not dare in their logical mind bet their hard earned cash on Manny who will be the odds underdog if facing PBF. Love can only get Manny so far.
Pac might not fear Mosley but Roach would not allow him to fight Mosley as a direct result of him being too good for Pacquiao. This much is fact. Personally, I think Pac stood a pretty good chance of getting wore out and knocked the **** out by Mosley if he were to fight him. That would be a bad fight for Pacquiao. Mosley is all wrong for him. A power puncher with an iron chin that just keeps coming at you all night. Pac doesn't fight people that have a chance to knock him out and are utterly impossible to KO. He likes to fight people coming off a recent loss. Check the record of his last 4 opponents. They all have one thing in common: they lost in 1 of their last 3 fights. Margarito is no different, having been KTFO by the guy who Floyd just whipped (and who Roach wanted nothing to do with). Just remember these things after Pac loses to Mayweather, if he ever decides to stop being scared of blood being drawn.
