Did Andre Ward's cheating ruin Kessler?

Nope to that statement. But Ward is very, very good. I'd like to see him in Denmark against Kessler or in Germany against Abraham. Or maybe even in Nottingham against Froch.

When south paws fight orthodox fighters, headbutts occur. The headbutt Pascal landed on Dawson was worse then anything that happened in the Ward vs Kessler fight. Dawson is one of my favorite fighters. Did I complain like a little ***** ****** ***** like you? No. I accept that this happens when orthodox fighters fight southpaws.

Why would you need to think Kessler would have won without the headbutts to say Ward is dirty? Irrelevant.

What is likeable about him?

I can name his speed, athleticism and versatility. But besides that he is doing some serious huggy bear holding, he is a party spoiler, he likes to come in with his head first and he regards the home advantage as some kind of natural law.

I will respect the dude if he fights without the cheating ****.

Everybody who knows boxing can see that he is a huge talent - but he seriously needs to stop the mix of Hopkins headbutts and the Ruiz holding. If he does that he will become a good fighter in my view.

Its hilarious. Pascal basically headbutted Dawson in a fight where Dawson had a great chance of knocking him out. You dont see Dawson fans pissing and moaning like Kessler fans.

 

It's part of the game unfortunately. Not just in oakland but in boxing as a whole. It's not a tickling contest and with two men goin at it sometimes there are a clash of heads. None of it was intentional and Kessler said he was dealing with the problem before the Ward fight. I'm sure the butts didn't help and I'm sure it hindered a more compeitive performance from Mikkel but overall the night was gonna be Wards regardless of the butts.
