    Calzaghes showboating against Sakio Bika.

He was showing off - because all the American HBO audience were watching.

    Cringing as ****.

Made himself look like a total *****.

    Lassie Johansen against David Haye.

The Dane turned to the ref in the 8th round and to tell him he had enough.

Haye drilled him with several more right hands while his hands were down by his sides and he was talking to the ref.

Ref stopped the fight - and Johansen screamed abuse at Haye for drilling him with them shots.

Joahasne was foolish in thinking just because he had enough - Haye was obliged to stop punching him.

There were more Welsh/brits than americans there, and most laughed.

He did, and rightly so. I remember it well, was sickening. He also killed Max Kellermans's brother so an all round nice lad.

Bollox, I was at the fight and Hopkins faked the low blows as he was completely gassed. You could hear the wheezing coming out of him! He needed a rest and cheated his way to it. Calzaghe fought like a man.

I agree that he was a coward for buying time, but that doesn't change the result. Hopkins couldnt miss with the right hand all night, I think he was clearly beaten.

I disagree there! And I think you're in the minority in thinking Calzaghe lost. Hopkins hardly threw all night, Calzaghe kept landing decent punches (I could hear them from my seat!) and Hopkins would just grab on. You can't win a fight fighting the way Hopkins did that night.

Don't worry about 'Bad Dog' Adam. The fact that he can tell you Hopkins 'clearly won' shows he's partial to the defendent...either that or he's predisposed to not being able to score a fight.

Ok. Here we go. Im more 'partial' to Calzaghe than Hopkins. I don't really like Hopkins at all. But, I'm not going to claim Calzaghe beat him because im British. I think you are the one who can't score a fight. You see a guy walking forward throwing a load of punches and think ''that must mean he is fighting better''. Hopkins countered Calzaghe perfectly all night with right hands. He slipped most of Calzaghe's punches. He put on an amazing display of technical boxing.

also most of the people supporting Hopkins in the arena left in the 12th round as they knew Calzaghe had won. I thought it was close but clear for Joe. A pretty easy fight to score.

I'm not British so have no allegiances there but Calzaghe's punches were definitely landing. I could hear them! Hopkins hardly landed on Calzaghe. A few punches here and there doesn't win a fight! Hopkins was shattered as he wasn't used to being hit so much. KO blows they weren't, but they were landing.
