I rather have lucian bute and kelly pavlik replace both kessler and green.

:deal These guys. At least these 2 are proven and Green was a bad choice from the beggining and gave bad results. Bika at least tries to give it his all and makes the fighters work for the victory.

Bika has a screw loose. If I were a promoter no fighter of mine would ever fight Bika.

Hershman said Pavlik and Bute were excluded on the basis of cost. Kelly's value took a big hit in his last fight. And, if all the fights go a certain way, I think KP could advance with a KO over Green.

    So, **** Bika. Make Pavlik/Green.

Not a good idea to insert a guy coming off a loss especially after those DQ shenanigans

No i would allow sakio bika in at this late stage. I would also not have replaced taylor with green. These inevitable situations should have been thought through before the tourniment began and an agreeable points compromise worked out. Having thought a bit about how the competition could be run this is what i would suggest.

    Win - 1 point
    Draw - 1 point
Win by ko - 2 points
    Loss - 0 point

If a fighter pulls out after first round his opponent should be awarded 1 point (whether he won or lost) and his future opponents who he can now no longer fight should be awarded 1 point. If he pulls out after the second round the same should apply and be backdated to his first opponent, and the same for the third round so that none of his opponents past or future gain an advantage by his withdrawl. At semifinal time if a fighter pulls out his place should be offered to the 5th placed man and if he is unavailable the 6th placed man. In the event that there are only 3 fighters available for the semifinals the highest scoring fighter should be awrded a bi to the final.

Don King feel free to forwrad me a cheque.

No. Bika sucks. Last thing this tournament needs now is some more ugliness, style wise.

    Damn good point.

It's generally the fighters messed up in the head (at least a little) that make for better entertainment value.

    No.

He doesn't deserve anything like this after the Mendy incident.
