    for me its chris byrd not to say theres more who are probably even more unrecognized but he just happens to be the one i can think of at the top of my head also one of my favorite fighters... who else do you guys think?

    Emanuel Augustus, I think he gets underappreciated because of his record but his record really is misleading because he was/is a warrior who really was quite skilled.

    floyd patterson floyd patterson.. very good choice.. former heavyweight champion during the real tough days of boxing but never gets mentioned among the top heavyweights of all time by most people...

    Funny thing about patterson is that people liked him quite a bit during his championship iirc, he was very well known. losses to Ali and Liston have really kept him from being known/appreciated more today.
