An open letter to david haye

Its the chance you take though.

If Enzo had won - he would have been WBO / WBC / WBA Champ.

He could have either had a rematch with Haye - and demanded the Lions Share of the purse.

Of pushed for other big fights at Crusierweight - maybe a unification with Cunnigham, etc - and made bigger money than he ever made before.

But he lost badly - so it was back to square one for unlucky Enzo.




Now Haye finds himself in the same situation.

He has a belt - he brings something to the table.

But its the Klitschkos who have long been established as the main men of the division.

So for Haye has to be realisitc and settle for a lesser share of the pie.

Maybe 30% of the pie if he is lucky maybe 40% - but certainly not 50%.


Booth may demand 50% - but he is deluded.

If the fight dosent happen cos Booth is holding out for 50% - than Booth / Haye are to blame for the fight not happening.

if there is $10 million on the table - Haye should accept maybe 35% of the purse - $3.5 million - thats just the way it is.

If Haye wins - then he is the man - and he can call the shots.

But he is not willing to take the risk - he wants to be fully paid like he is already the main man - and he aint - he is just a belt holder.

 

Haye has been offered 50/50 to fight Wlad.:good

Boxing is a sport. We fund that sport. Haye has an obligation to fight the best otherwise he can go **** himself. Get it!

 

Ali pretty much went through every top contender. Robinson fought em all. Hell he even fought em 6 times if necessary. Louis went through em all too.

You can nit pick obviously but these guys rose to the challenge. It isn't like Haye has avoided one fight and fought a top contender instead. He has not fought the Klits in 4 fights now and is avoiding them to fight AUDLEY HARRISON. He sent the guy a ****ing contract. Are you stupid.
