Possible fights for Pacquiao-Margarito Undercard.

    Apparently, this is how Top Rank would like to fill out the rest of HBO-PPV...

    Kelly Pavlik vs. TBA
    Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Ricardo Cordoba/Bernabe Concepcion
    Mike Jones vs. Jesus Soto-Karass

    Supposedly, they want Pavlik in the co-feature against a a guy who's going to "test" him and at a weight of no more than 164.

    Considering, Rigondeaux's level of competition, I think a fight against Cordoba or Concepcion would be a good litmus test for the Cuban.

    Jones vs. Soto-Karass is mildly interesting. I've always enjoyed watching Soto-Karass on Telefutura. Even if he did lose to Alfonso Gomez, unlike most of Jones' opponents, he's durable with good power and comes to fight.

    All in all, I think this would be a faily solid undercard ( especially compared to recent cards put on by Top Rank) if Pavlik is matched with a credible opponent. Of course, whether or not this actually comes off as planned is another story. Top Rank is notorious for putting out plans of well rounded undercards only to turn around and fill their PPVs out with bs. It would be a shame if we get another undercard like the one earlier this year for Pacquiao-Clottey.

    well its is definately an opportunity to put a good card together and yes, TR has put some **** undercards out there. i don't get the 164 talk w/ kelly. either "test" yourself at 160 to see if you can still do it or move up and "test" yourself at 168. either way i'll be happy to see him back in the ring of course.

    Sounds like TR is going with a catch-weight theme for this card. Good sounding card none the less.

    Nice i hope bernabe concepcion could be on the undercard. I want to see kelly Pavlik fight someone good but why @ 164? I wouldn't mind pavlik vs bika @ 168.

    How about donaire vs montiel? hope this fight could happen

    definitely worth getting if Pacquiao is fighting...
    im done buying anything mayweather till he fights Pacquiao.... his fight vs SSM was a bore (unless you're in love w/ PBF) and he got suckered into the PBF chessgame and forgot his gameplan later on....

    It would be awesome if donaire-motiel can be on the undercard and bernabe concepcion. I don't care who he fights.

    Thats well worth my time and devotion to stream the fight lol. Most likely Pavlik will either pull out or fight James McGirt Jr.
