this coupled with the fitting music and him actually triumphing makes it a really emotonal video. The whole crowd is stood there looking dissappointed, like they are left hanging earlier in the clip when he is knocked down, only to jump up and KO his opponent

Jack Johnson was arguably the greatest personality in the history of the heavyweight division.

The tragedy about the way he was stereotyped and portrayed in the press is that he was probably the most inteligent man ever to hold the lineal heavyweight championship.

Im my opinion Johnson was the greates heavyweight pre Joe Louis and is second only to Louis and Ali among the heavyweight champions.

    I agree
I think those three fighters should be everyones top 3 of all time in any order. For me it's

    1. Ali
    2. Johnson
    3. Louis

Yes, I agree that those three stand out from the rest of the pack in terms of depth of resume.

Other people see it with regard to Louis and Ali, but not with regard to Johnson.

    Beautiful highlight reel Reznick.

Jack Johnson is easily one of my top ten all-time favourite boxers and that's saying something. It's been a while since I watched footage of Johnson and watching your video, I was reminded of just how awesome and muscular as a physical specimen Johnson was in his prime. Couple that with his hand speed and foot speed and his elusiveness and you have a great boxer who was ridiculously ahead of his time in terms of his attributes and attitude inside and outside the ring.

    Good job!

Watching the Burns footage ,you have to doubt the announced weight of 168lbs for him by boxrec. He looks thick in the waist and his thighs are very stocky, not too long ago boxrec had Burns at168lbs for the Jem Roche fight ,I see they have changed that ,my guess is Burns was nearer 186 than 168lbs.

    Thanks for posting this.:good
