James Toney....Made Boxing Look Bad....

Why? You do realize that it was a great fight card, don't you? Toney vs Couture wasn't even the main event. Although it was a very interesting fight that I know I was pumped to see. As was I excited to watch Maynard vs Florian, Diaz vs Davis, Penn vs Edgar II, ect... which were also on the card tonight.

 

I was watching HBO and they were advertising a boxing match and they said "it is a fight to the finish!".......thats a good place to end.

 

Toney disgraces boxing every time he fights cos he doesn't dedicate himself AT ALL.

 

I don't think he did.

He just tried his luck on another sport and failed. It's really hard to expect a past-his prime boxer to cross-over to MMA within 6 months and beat a contender-(former champion)level guy.

 

Did you not see Carwin land about 20 shots on Brock?????? or see Mir land a knee flush on Brock's chinatsch

There was surpise to me,the fight went how i thought it would go as soon as randy got hold of him,fight over .boxers cant go over to mma 2 different sports

 

This was ALL ABOUT $$$$ and Dana, Toney and Couture all got plenty!

 

I don't know about boxing looking bad, but it makes me look bad for thinking he a had chance, a small chance, of winning even after seeing him at that weigh-in. First things first, you have to keep your ass in fighting shape. The smarter UFC fans know better than to project a fat James Toney on all of boxing, and fighting, for that matter. Couture showed class, something I usually root for in competitors, and Toney didn't.

There was no boxing in this fight.

It was one guy terrified of throwing a punch at all costs, so he had to bring it to the floor and win like a ***.

That's all there was too it.

Most grown men don't induldge in that kind of homosexual behavior.

Think about it. Everything most people like about sports....speed, finenese, athleticism, all gets reduced to two homoseuxal men rollin around on the ground like ***s.
