Did it make sense to pit Toney vs Couture in his first MMA match?

Toney asked for it and he thought he could learn all he had to learn in 6 months to beat a guy like Randy. So.....he got what he asked for and he failed. Toney didn't get a chance to incorporate "Boxing".....Randy took that away from him before he could even throw a punch. Randy knew the deal and he took advantage of it. Props to Randy..

Yes Toney got paid good $$$ and thats exactly what he wanted. His career as a boxer is almost over and no one cares for him and so he goes over to MMA and gets a shot at one of their best LOL a joke!

This was a circus not a fight. How can you put a career 160lb fighter who has fattened his way to HW in boxing and is a non factor there in with an MMA greatest in his own sport. Its a setup and yet many fools bought into it.

MMA is a different sport in which Boxing is one aspect. A small old fat boxer stands no chance of learning ground work at the tender age of 42 esp. when put in with the best MMA has to offer.
