And Hagler was an underdog a few times--a few of those tough Philly fights in the 70's. He was not a big underdog by any means but was kind of a live underdog type. I just can't recall all those odds right now but he was not the betting favorite in all those bouts. I seem to recall Marvin being an underdog in a Seales bout as well, come to think of it.
Monzon was a big underdog in that first Benvenuti bout. He may have been a small one for the second bout as well. Foreman was a 3-1/4-1 in the Frazier bout. Foreman was 4-1 over Ali. Ruddock was a 2-1 favorite over LL.
I could be wrong, but I don't think Arguello was ever an underdog in his prime. Hell, he was even the betting favorite for the first Pryor fight.
