Is the Magnificent 7 PPV worthy?

It's not the cost that's the issue, £15 is nothing for the amount of fights were getting but the fact that the most highly anticipated fight is off the card is going to put a lot of people off. It will feel like less of an event now.

 

Even without Macklin v Barker i will no doubt be forking out for this. The Mosley - Mora card is on the same night so hopefully Sky will do us a nice little favour and give us that for free. I wonder what the odds are......:huh

 

It's annoying. It's a solid domestic card with about 5 FNF in 1. It's not PPV but at the same time it could be a good night in of boxing.

 

Depends what you mean by PPV worthy. Whilst there's five decent fights on the card it's definitely worth £15 to a hardcore boxing fan; it's actually very good value at £3 a fight. But the card is not "PPV worthy" in that there is no one fight to attract anyone outside of hardcore boxing fans. None of the fighters on the bill are a PPV attraction and neither are Barker or Macklin.

It probably isn't PPV worthy, but I will definitely buy it anyway.

 

I'll usually buy any old crap, so yeah I'll undoubtedly fork out for this.

The only one I haven't paid for in recent times has been the Khan-Prescott one, and no way could this card be as **** as that one.

 

Now rhodes is out is it still PPV worthy?at what point do you think it would get changed once brook-jennings falls thru?

I dont think it's PPV worthy as there is no "household name" involved in a world title fight.

However, will I be buying it?

I was looking forward to Macklin v Barker a great deal but even with it falling through this is good value for money.

Hopefully make the 15 quid back on an accumulator!
