This Parker bloke seems like fairly down to earth dude.Big lad who indeed will fill out abit more as he hits his early 20's..

Man i just hope he stays away from Islanders worst enemy(Excess eating) and sticks to training hard..

thesse kiwi fighters are overated.they have the size and strengfth but cant do all the hard yakka too make it bigtime.there all dominate in footy when were juniours because its all just talent and gift back then but later in life when training and committement come into play they just sit back and **** themselves drunk.

I met Joseph when I was over in Singapore and he comes across as a humble and genuine young man. I think he told me he only had 18 fights so getting the silver medal was a big effort. I watched a couple of his fights and he looked to have natural power and hand speed. His fast jab was a real weapon. I also know while others where having a good time in the village he was doing the things that needed to be done like recovery sessions and going to bed early to best prepare himself for the next days fight.

It will be interesting to see where he is at in about another 20 fights.
