Message to Paul "The Punished" Williams: SIGN THE CONTRACT!!!

I know it will be a 50/50 split. But didn't you forgot that Martinez hasn't signed the contract as well? Cause if i read right, it said that both camps hasn't signed on anything. You saying "All Williams got to do is write his name on a piece of paper"? That's easier said then done. He will until Goosen and Peterson with Hayman tells him if the dollar signs makes the most sense for him. Hell if this the case then why hasn't Martinez signed the contract? <<Easy cause of his promoter, manager. This fight will happen.

 

Thanks for the post. I am tired of Paul Williams complaining about not getting fights and then not taking this fight.

 

Paul is 1-0 against Martinez so I don't blame him for asking for the bigger split.:deal Anyone in his position would be asking for more as well.

 

Log off. The last time I checked he beat both Cintron and Martinez and made Quinitana his ***** in the rematch and is a top 5 P4P fighter.:deal The guy has a great resume and has taken on all comers. The hate for Williams here is unwarranted and ridiculous.:-(

I was discussing this yesterday and found at least 30 to 35 fighters that cases can easily be made to be higher than him p4p.

 

Williams and Goosen can not sign a contract Martinez and diBella have not sent them.

A lot of people seem to forget Martinez's first act as middleweight champ was to call out a 39 year old welterweight.

 

its a unique position to be in for williams. he beat martinez two fights ago but sergio is the undisputed champ. so yes, i don't blame him either. but you could say the same thing for sergio being the champ and asking for more than 50/50.

bottom line is it would be a shame for either fighter to scuttle the whole damn show b/c of a want of more than a 50/50 split.

It just shows you have no credibility when it comes to discussing boxing, can't be taken seriously and should be viewed as a troll. Williams has one of the better resumes in boxing and that alone would be enough to put him in the top 15.:deal

 

Martinez is being generous by giving him 50%. Sergio should actually be getting 60%, that 10% for being robbed last time.:deal
