Yes--if toney and kimbo can fight in the ufc then overeem should be able to do it too. Plus it would bring excitement in the heavyweight division.

    Imagine
    Overeem vs brock
    vs dos santos
    vs velazquez
    vs carwin

    all awesome fights

Yes - but he has to finish his Strikeforce contract first. As soon as he does - he'll be in the UFC.

I dont see it happening. Is Dana going to let him fight MMA bouts in Japan inbetween UFC fights ? Is Dana going to allow Overeem to continue to fight K-1 ? I seriously doubt it.

He won't need to fight overseas or K1 once he's in the UFC. The point is moot til it happens anyway. But yes - he will fight in the UFC.

Never gonna happen. AO love K-1 and Dana is never gonna let one of is fighter compete elsewhere then UFC

Don't need to mention Liddel in Pride, I know, but Dana know it was a mistake, so it won't happen again !

SF need to keep their guys satisfied. Big fights. Overeem needs to fight Werdum or Fedor coming off of a win. Big foot and Serge are in the mix. No **** fights because SF have alot of fighters using them as a launch pad into the UFC.

PS - Jimmie is right. Overeem has already said that in the UFC he cannot maximise his earning potential. He was approached but did not want it because he loves fighting MMA and K1.

im sure he could come to a deal to let him fight in K-1 aswell as UFC, its not like its a different mma org he lets his grapplers compete in adcc an mundials.

They were going to let Fedor fight in Sambo, Toney in boxing and then Overeem in K1. I don't know if that begins to set a good or bad precedent for them. Especially when they are marketing these guys as the most indestructible beings.

I believe he will and I believe he'll be champion fairly quick.
