best rd for sturm, still not terribly impressive. basically won that rd on a few clean jabs, peekabo defense looking good for sturm. He doesnt throw much of a variety of shots though. Sturm taking over as the ring general

Sturm won the 3rd mostly on jabs. Needs more combinations. If the jab is hitting Lorenzo, the following punched would too.

    Round 4

Sturm walks Lorenzo into the ropes and postures while Lorenzo pushes out a jab. Sturm lets Lorenzo lead and looks to wedge his jab in the openings. Lorenzo backs into the ropes, ducks a Sturm jab and clinches. Sturm begins looking to set up a 1-2. Lorenzo fights out of the corner. Sturm blocks and lets Lorenzo swing himself off balance. Sturm's jab really taking over. Lorenzo is walking away from him, eying him and clearly thinking on his feet trying to devise a new strategy. Lorenzo does a lot of weaving against the ropes as Sturm pressures without punching. Lorenzo does a little shoulder roll on the ropes and throws a lead right Mayweather style. Sturm just ignores it and continues to cut off the ring and catch Lorenzo at the corners with stinging jabs to the mouth. Left hookercut from Sturm. Lorenzo flicks his jab and is pounded into the corner by a Sturm right hand. Sturm looking very sharp here.

    Sturm 10-9

    38-38

Sturm again showing the ring general, landing clean jabs. Still not much coming from him int erms of power. but, he is walking down Lorenzo. Lorernzo getting away from the bodywork and uppercuts that won him the 1st 2 rds.
    10-9 sturm

It seems Sturm is shaking of the ring rust.

Lorenzo is beginning to show that he's not on the same level as Sturm. Sturm would probably win every following round.

    Round 5

Sturm throws a few jabs that back Lorenzo all the way across the ring. Lorenzo keeps his own jab flickering out but not discouraging Sturm in the least. NICE hard body shots from Lorenzo, his best work since the first two rounds. Sturm keeps the laser-sighted jab trained on Lorenzo's face and is economical but effective with it. Lorenzo is trying to get comfortable with a defensive scheme to avoid the jab, trying different things out in a slow-paced round. He lifts his elbows up to his throat with his forearms locked and dips forward, trying to find space on Sturm's body. Sturm just pushes him away and lines him up for hard jabs and uppercutting left hooks. NICE lead right by Sturm, he spins his wrist after it lands and follows it with a right underhand.

    10-9 Sturm

    48-47 Sturm

Sturms straight shots are getting there faster. His is blocking most of Lorenzo's looping shots. Sturm not landing many big shots at all. Winning the rds on jabs. Lorenzo has lost any effectiveness, landing only on sturms gloves.

Lorenzo is just winging punches but not much strategy or accuracy. Sturm is precise and applying intelligent pressure. There's a good possibility that Lorenzo might get stopped in this fight.
