Your favourite Non-British/Irish fighters

    Top 10 or a top 5 will do.

    Here's my current 10:

    1 - Fernando Montiel
    2 - Rafael Marquez
    3 - Miguel Cotto
    4 - Juan Manuel Marquez
    5 - Giovanni Segura
    6 - Michael Katsidis
    7 - Roman Gonzalez
    8 - Sergio Martinez
    9 - Tim Bradley
    10 - Abner Mares

    I don't count guys who shouldn't really be fighting anymore (IMO), like Morales and Castillo, who would definitely be on that list if they were still "legitimately" active. But each to their own in this one; you may have your own view on some of the elder statesmen (throw Tommy Hearns in there if you want).

    Martinez and Cotto (in that order) for similar reasons, they take the tough fights and have done it the hard way.

    Good choice.

    I like the look of that guy too.

    What about this Golovkin character? I've heard he is supposed to be really good, but haven't seen him fight yet. Will have to go look up some youtube footage I suppose, but if anyone could give me the lowdown I'd appreciate it.:D

    Segura, Gonzalez, Hasegawa, Bute are others I'm a fan of but I wouldn't say they're my favourite fighters.

    Mayweather ( just because Paquiaos fans on these boards **** me off so much)
    Jean Pascal

    Cotto
    Andre Dirrell
    Jorge Arce (hes just about hanging in there)
    Juanma
    Juan Manuel Marquez

    I would pick Acosta and Perez but theyve been here their entire careers so I left it to guys who fight overseas

    I haven't seen alot of Golovkin either to be honest, from what i recall i don't think there's an awful lot of footage of him on youtube either. But a few people on here seem pretty high on him going off the 'Stars of the Future' competition. He looked good in the little footage i've seen of him, but against less than stellar competition.
