super feather is actually a decent division now. obviously at the top you have Burns at the top. this would be my rankings for the british title.

Surely, the operative phrase is "down the line". This is just Frank getting a bit of press for one of his up and coming fighters on the coat tails of a fella who is now one of his established fighters.

There seems more chance of him throwing the emaciated, 130lb, corpse of Arthur as a sacrifice for an all-Scottish mega-fight then him risking Appleby.

Foster Jr.-Leva winner for me. Good meaningful winnable first defence :thumbsup Although that probably doesn't fit into the before Xmas fight date that Frank wants.

Paul got a beating off of Lindsay. He will struggle badly with Burns. He's a baby still and needs to take learning fights...just like Ricky did.

For cash! do you not think he has earned the right for a local showdown that would pull in sky money and cash through the turnstyles? this isn't a multi millionaire like David Haye we are talking about!

I would like to see him fight Arthur. Means an all Scottish clash, a chance to make up for a past defeat and it shuts Arthur up who is complaining about a lack of action being put his way from Warren.

    :deal

Hence ma post in the Scottish Express thread.

Did Appleby not tell Sky tv in front of Burns after all this.......that if Burns loses to Martinez he is hunting Burns down.

Regardless of the win/loss Burns may have suffered to Martinez........it was never happening.

    Insulting, regardless.

Ayes its exposure etc but nah, way out of line regarding respect.

Pretty sure we had a good banter via pm and i mentioned that if Ricky sits down on his punches that his strength and power will surprise not only Martinez but many.

Not taking away from you either, we were tryna find links to the weigh in i think.

    Eh ?

I like Paul and we spoke briefly in his gym after the sessions with Burns n Simpson.

Ma picture/vids thread summed it up and out of respect i didnt post anymore.

I was a guest of Pauls gym AND Billy even said to me on the way home " you like Apps eh " as he saw how gutted i was at the way he got worked over.............AND he had a 4 round break compared to the others.

Seriously and with respect, thats a very poor excuse given he made his way to the Wild Card on his todd.

Anyways, i wish him all the best, i truly do.

    Thanks.

Not right now, Paul is coming off a huge layoff and has only had 1 fight at the weight. Get him on the undercard in December for the vacant Commonwealth Title and build him up as he is still inexperienced. I think it's Warren just being clever getting Appleby newspaper lines and testing the interest in that fight. I personally want to see Burns take on an international opponent next afterall he is the WORLD Champion and not the BRITISH Champion.

East v West is already starting to take shape I see lol

Paul is still young and has ages ahead of him so lets not be too quick to judge him after an 18 month break. The kid was the youngest featherweight british champion in history and thats not a title they give out to anyone. 2 or 3 more fights and he'll be ready for another title imo.
