If you read one boxing book this year, make it Bob Mee's new Ali - Liston book. Just finished it and it is a formidable work. Wonderfully researched and depth of knowledge shining from every page. It should be in with a real chance of Sports Book of the Year.
I really like the sound of this one. Glad it's as good as it sounded when Bob was discussing it on Buncey's show.
This is a great read. I don't go for sports books, but my old man always gets me owt on boxing that he sees out and about - and this was one of the best. Highly recommended.
