i dont agree.... follow my confoluted logic:

1st off ruslan chagaev a fighter who is as good as any challenger. was taken all the way by matt skelton. rogan beat skelton inside the distance. sexton dominated rogan in the second fight. i know boxing doesnt work like that but by that estimation would you agree sexton is atleast at the level of chagaev?

2nd..... david haye has sparred david price and fought decent level opposition at heavey weight. he claims price is a future world champ. u can say its cus there friends but haye doesnt just dish out compliments. he meant it.

3rd.....the standard realy isnt that good. ive studied fighters like povetkin and boystov who are gna be the standard of champs after the klits and there not far off fighters like sexton and chisora. maybe they hit harder but sexton especially is a better boxer than both of them.

4th..... recent dominance in heavey weight scene has been by tall fighters who use there jab and supperior reach. surly one of the bunch of tall fighters like, towers, dallas, fury, or price will learn the art. my bet is price will be the best.

final point..... because there all at similar age and level these fighters will fight each other keeping them all on there toes. at no point can any of them relax because domestic scene is too easy. they will all be prepared for the bigger challenge when moving up. thats often the struggle for uk fighters. the jump up inclass hits them by suprise. it happened to hatton, naz, calzaghe, mitchell ect ect.

we'll see how many of those fighters you named become legitimate world champions, my opinion is none of them will become world champion. when you look at the ability of david haye compared to the other british heavyweights there is a vast difference in ability.

If you can dare to go on Hatton's website, his ABA final is on there (you need to sign up as well):

    No it's not.

Sexton is noway near what Chagaev was a few years ago before his illnesses. Chagaev beat Valuev more clearly than anyone else has, Sexton would be out of his depth against Valuev, he'd be ground down and stopped.

Povetkin and Boytsov are miles better than our heavyweights, if you think otherwise you're only deluding yourself I'm afraid.

I'm warming to Fury. He toughed out the rematch against McD and he's looking to step up and he's being honest. I just fear he is lazy and will have to learn to improve by losing, being knocked down etc

we'll have to wait and see. im sure sexton will get a title shot. he's a good boxer so i think he would give boystov and povetkin a decsent fight. maybe your right though he mite loose.

The New Opponent is horrendous, Rich Power is terrible, he is a midwest heavyweight who has an unbeaten record and no known names at all... A decent heavyweight pulled out in Jason Gavern, and this clown appears as a (Great replacement) Rich Power... a blow over in 2 rounds.. another clown import.. Terrible. waste of time...
