Not gonna happen, but yes I'll be hoping it does. Haye taking us all for mugs and sadly the fact that half of the Brit forum have said they will pay for this shite means that the general public will buy into this in a big way and make Haye a fortune for ducking a real fight and taking the easy earner against a joke.

Haye: "I get more emails from boxing fans telling me to fight Audley than anyone else".

Sure you do, and I get emails from Beyonce begging for a date, but I've been too busy.

What makes me laugh is so many successful fighters over the years, talk themselves up but dont always take the best challenge, and seem to avoid several big challenges during their career. PBF gets knocked, Calzaghe gets knocked. Champs don't always take the toughest fight, time after time. And lets not forget Haye has only had 3 or 4 fights at HW.
But people get so wound up by what he says ! lol

Forget the talk, just look at records, if he aint got a W against a klit when he quits, then judge.

If Haye had a track record for avoiding challenges I could understand it, but his resume up to now is solid. And he became unified CW champ in a pretty short time to be fair.

IF he never fights a klit I'll knock him but aside from them, this is a the best fight business wise.

Look at Lennox Lewis, he had a great career, but there were still names like Francis Botha tucked in that record while he was champ, and Botha was awful lol

Audley winning is bad for boxing. I guarantee Haye has a rematch clause, so six months later we get the rematch. Audley won't fight one of the K bros in that time.

That leaves Haye with, maybe, 6 months before he retires. So maybe his last fight is against a Klit, but what if he wins? Will he still retire or will he go for full unification? My guess is he would still retire happy knowing he secured his place in the HoF by beating (Vitali, most likely) a Klitschko and partially unifying in a second weight class.

Audley winning just shorts us more time from someone unifying the HW division.

It would be good for boxing as it would make Haye completely irrelevant. Someone save the HW division from this *******.

As much as I don't like Haye and his con act at HW, he's far better for the division than Audley. Imagine, if AFarce wins, the type of **** he'd be saying and imagine all the hype that would be manufactured for a fight with the Klits. Just a waste of time and another black eye for boxing. I'd rather wait and see if Haye has balls to step up comp and be credible than seeing Audley talk himself up like an egotist and self destruct in prime time. However, id be fun seeing Haye's face if he lost.

I don't buy that... I think if Haye wins we have to wait until he retires before we can even think about unification, and then it's hoping we don't get some Don King fighter as WBA strapholder because then it certainly never happens.

Haye has to lose against Audrey or his mandatory to Chagaev (he will try to get out of that one of course), or it's waiting until end of next year to see wich undeserving blokes the WBA pushes forward for the vacant belt.

End of the day, as much as it grates that Haye aint made a fight with Klts yet, if this fight sells, it gives him better bargaining position. Unlike a lot of posters on ESB, Haye isnt stupid, he knows he is up against it against a Klit, and knows if he gets knocked out ealry by one of em he wont get another shot , and all the other ' contenders' out there do nothing for his legacy.

Thats why I refuse to knock him YET, because I still believe he will fight at least one of them, so can understand why he will hold out for the best possible deal, cause once he fights a Klit, if he loses, thats it, he will just be another boxer who got beaten by a klit.

But if Audley wins twice (rematch and all), whats the chance of him stepping in with Wlad? I'm thinking afetr the second Haye fight, he would take an easy challenge before dealing with his mandatory.

Are you sure there's a rematch clause, because Haye hates rematch clauses (at least that's what he says).

If he doesn't, he's a fool. Even if he doesn't think Audley has a snowball's chance in hell, this is the HW divison; one punch is all it takes.
