You sure it wasn't ol' Iron Mike gnawing at the side of your head?

i go with Tyson. Although Lewis will win the poll. Its a very very close one which could go either way. Just feel Tyson at his dominant best would find a way to get on the inside and land on Lewis

Lewis would shake Tyson to his boots, it would soon slow him down and have him fearing anymore

a prime tyson has to much head movement and foot speed for lewis to react to. he had great head and body combo's as got inside very quickly. just My Opinion

I dont think I would ever pick anyone over tyson on his best night. Tyson at his absolute best looked to me to be the most devastating guy I have ever seen inside the ring. His speed, power, tenacity and brute will may never be witnessed again.

That being said, Tyson and consistency would be two words I wouldnt use together. I think Manny Steward pinned his style correctly.

But for one night against anyone at their absolute best, I wouldnt want to bet against Iron Mike Tyson.

As much as like a prime Tyson over almost any heavyweight out there.. I think Lewis had his number :) Too big, too strong, and too smart. I think he would frustrate Mike and unless Mike can land within 3 rounds he gets dominated for the rest of the fight.

Both were equally dominantin their prime, my thought is that Lewis would have tempered Tyson agression and outboxed him to a TKO.
This style of fight would similar to Tyson v Bruno but different outcome....Bruno needed to be more confident and I think Lewis would be.

Lewis easy. Tyson could win by "lucky" (which isn't actually luck) punch just like Mcall and Rahman did over Lewis. But Lewis is obviously superior to those latter two and he's much better than Tyson as well. I'd only need -300 odds on Lewis to bet on him.

Prime Tyson would beat prime Lewis IMO. As someone already mentioned, Tyson had good head movement, great foot speed, unbelievable hand-speed for a heavyweight, and you can't forget his punching power. Throw in his damn good chin and he would be really hard to beat at his prime.

Lewis, as great as he was, could be caught and knocked out (See Rahman). He wasn't exceptionally fast, but you couldn't count out his ring intelligence which is rare in heavyweights.

I guess the best way to put it would be like this. If Tyson caught and hurt Lewis in the early rounds, Tyson would pretty much finish him off. If Lewis were to somehow be able to last past the 4th or 5th round I think the chances of him beating Tyson would go up the longer the fight went, if that makes any sense.

Agree with the previous post Prime Tyson has too much speed and head movement for LL ...But you never know it be a classic !!
