Yeah I'm about 20 minutes in and they have done a great job so far. The Lewis vs Bruno was a nice touch as well, big Frank took some punishment in that last round. Also strange to see Lewis getting pulled on that hand in the face move he got away so much with that.
Yeah, it's perfectly fine. It's very sky: professional to a flaw, safe, non confrontational, unopinionated, etc. but it had plenty of interesting content. The guests were good this week so hopefully that will continue to be the case. One thing I really like is the potential to air prelim fights which don't make the saturday broadcast (like they did with appleby) I'm just glad there's another hour of boxing on tv anyway
Was it just me or did it look like there was a poster of Khan vs Maidana being advertised for sky box office.
Just a small thing but I think theyd be better off behind a desk or in a studio. On the espn ringside they look comfortable in the gym but I thought they all seemed very uptight or something tonight.
Also I like the way they didnt ignore Morales-Limond just because its not on sky. They were guilty of that a bit when setanta were showing fights
Well I enjoyed it tonight. Bunce's show then this was a decent way to spend 2 hours of my life. Ringside is a typical Sky production but we never had it this time last year. If it get the sport more exposure, more people watching the sport and more folks taking it up then it's all good. Lets be positive.
Lets not start that again. Funnily enough Mack used play underage hurling for Tipperary (means he was very good) a couple of his former teammates were on the senior team that won the all-ireland last week. I bet he was freaked he couldnt be on the **** over here :rofl
