im a huge Bute fan, but i dont know much about Brinkly, i was wondering what ppl thaught, will it be a close fight? will it go the distance or will it be a short night?

rumors are that the co-main event will be Adrian Diaconu vs Omar Sheika....i see Diaconu tko/ko by the 6th.

I'm a fan of both Bute and Brinkley. However, Brinkley isn't much more than a famous club fighter. He may have his moments, but I'm pretty sure Bute will stop him. Brinkley does not handle body shots very well.

Brinkley is no 'Iron Man' Pavlik. He is getting stopped.

Brinkley is never weak to the body. Joey ****in Spina stopped him with body shots. The first Bute left to the body and its a wrap.

I agree. Bute will stop Brinkley one of two ways. Either with one of his patented left hands to the body, or he'll do it when Brinkley gets jab-happy and lets his right hand wander out of postiion. It's only a matter of whether or not Brinkley can have some moments where he looks good. Jesse doesn't have a snow ball's chance in hell of seeing the end of 12.

Brinkley has an excellent chin, so if Bute goes headhunting it might go the distance, but as others have said he can't take it to the body. So most likely Bute stops him with a body shot.

i really doubt brinkly has a better chin that andrade...andrade has never been knocked down from a head shot, which is why to ko him bute had to go for the body shots

    Brinkley's a game B-class opponent, he's a peoples' fighter

i expect Lucian to rock him in a heavy combo and tko him in the midrounds....

Brinkley is a tough *******, a real warrior... but that only goes so far. He' s too easy to hit, and that's going to be disastrous against Bute. I'd be astonished if this fight lasted as much as 8 rounds.

There's a great undercard... so it's not that bad if Bute-Brinkley won't go the distance

    Lucian Bute - Jesse Brinkley
    Adrian Diaconu - Omar Sheika
Jo Jo Dan - Andres Pablo Villafane
Benoit Gaudet - Ceferino Dario Labarda
Sébastien Gauthier - Julio David Roque Ler
Pier Olivier Côté - Walter Sergio Gomez
    Francy N'Tetu - Martin Desjardins
