I was slightly surprised that the main "who's going to win" poll was about a 10:1 ratio in favor of Wlad - more so condsidering there are more than a few Wlad haters on here :p

Regarding Haye and AP, how can anybody not see it that way :yep
But Haye is worse given all his big "talk".

Peter showed a lot of heart, he was just outclassed tonight. he took a ****ing beating for ten rounds before getting knocked out, only an idiot would say he didn't try, unfortunately the world is teeming with idiots.

Comparing era's is very often disrecpectful. It is cowardly to **** on a boxer's record to have him lose in fantasy match-ups. You make the rules and the fighter has no way to disprove the assumption.

Expect some "Tyson wins in 30 second" threads.

you mean wlad is like joe calzaghe? standing toe to toe with lacy and throwing over 1000 punches and beating lacy at his own game? where did you see all those punches? all i saw was a wrestling fight with some occasional punces thrown

no fukkin way.. wlad is a ***** compared to joe.

    Respect.

The man has guts. He has fought the Klitschko's 3 times.

Bad managing. Sooner or later he would have gotten a chance against a beatable paper champ like David Haye. Can't see him recovering from this beating.

I missed the first 3 rounds of the fight today, but unless Peter fought his ass off and actually threw some meaningful shots in those first 3 rounds which I missed, he pretty much fought a survival fight from the point that I started watching it in......

This just is'nt the same Samuel Peter from before his Jameel McCline fight.......ever since being badly hurt several times in that McCline fight, he just has'nt been advancing and fighting with the same veracity he once did.

The undefeated Peter who first fought Wlad, was willing to take chances and pay the price to come in, so that he could throw his........
.....but this Peter seems to me to be a mentally shot fighter who's confidence to walk through fire is not at the level it once was prior to getting wobbled and badly hurt vs McCline.

Its a pretty simple observation from me. Prior to McCline, Peter's mentality was that there was'nt a heavyweight in the world that could hurt him to the point of putting his lights out.......
Jameel McCline has Peter convinced that is'nt the case any longer, and in most of his fights, he's fighting with that mentality.

If you dont take some chances, which Peter did in his first fight with Wlad, a fighter of Peter's strenghths does'nt have a chance in hell to competing with the likes of the Klitchko's.

Peter did try and he tried to stay and survive the fight as long as he could hoping that he could land a punch and hurt vlad it didn't happen. He did want to win and he didn't want to get knocked out either. he actually looked in pretty good condiition, what did he way, 240? He doen't have the skills that a povetkin or a David haye has or a Chambers for that matter but he fought. Give the guy a break. For the life of me I think that some of you are ******ed. Or bitter angry people for some reason. Do you want someone to beat Vlad? I donot see it happening unless he ages over night or by pure accident. He is Skilled and he is athletic Big and strong. He has NFL type of strength just get over it you ignorant f--ls

Sam Peter gained a fan tonight. It's the rare boxer nowdays that will fight anyone, anywhere, and at anytime; and conduct himself with class like a true sportsman.

At least Peter had the guts to fight him, so I respect him, unlike that complete whussy trash talking David Haye who is a scaredy cat, and also Potvekin, with his nimwitted Atlas.

Of course he tried, he just wasn't skilled enough and it was what most people expected. Just because he was in shape wasn't going to mean he turned into a prime Holyfield overnight.

X2. Maybe in another era against another style. But the Klits are just wrong for him.
