Why do fighters love standing in Wlad's kill zone??

YES THEY DO CHOOSE TO TO STAND THERE WATCH THE FIGHTS! Wlad doesn't need to use any skills to keep them where he wants them, they are just there! What exactly is Wlad doing then, to bring them closer to him? Does he have some kind of magnetic force field around him, and pulls them in??

So Wlad is a Jedi master now?? :patsch

Chagaev didn't show much IQ in that fight though, he just kept trying to get past the jab, but was moving in straight lines. He's not particularly fast, and isn't that explosive. He's also quite small, about Sam Peter's height.

Think about this logically, the guy is on a 13 fight winning streak and has fought most of the top guys in the division (I understand it is a weak division). Now, surely to **** if someone like yourself, who has no experience as a world class boxer, can see that it's not the best idea to stand where Wlad can pound away at you, then these guys can as well. Of course they don't go in with the idea of standing there, they come in with a gameplan to get inside, get hit with a few of Wlad's stiff jabs, caught with a straight right, try to get inside and get tied up. This get's repeated until their spirit is broken.

Most fighters draw a opponent towards them or chase them so to speak, wlad just stands there, and lets his hands go like he is supposed to.

his opponents are their for the taking no head movement no lateral movement or even circling them to feel them out etc.

not taking anything away from him but he isnt as good technically as eveypne thinks.

Its about conditionning, jumping in and out of range and moving all the time is extremely tiring, and once you stop and start to get hit you're pretty much done.

They obviously just never, ever thought of it.

I bet they will be kicking themselves when they read this.

To further on my point, I don't think he's a 'jedi master', and I don't think he's a top 10 heavyweight of all time. However I do feel he is being criminally underrated by people who don't like his style and don't like him because he's an Eastern Euro.

You might be on to something.

Peter was not this way when he attacked Julius Long.

Maybe Wlad does have some kind of undiscovered power that some construe to be supernatural.

    It is just him though.

The heavyweight division stinks and most of Wlad's opposition simply don't have the skills, courage, and/or talent to do anything other than stand in Wlad's kill zone and try to survive instead of win.

I think his stamina is the same as it's always been, he just fights within himself more in recent years. He fights his own fight as nobody has had the tools to upset his rhythm. It is strange because although he is dominant, he still has very apparent weaknesses.

As has been said, it would either need to be someone with the tools for a fast search and destroy tactic or a fighter with enough durability to take the inevitable shots, wear him down and capitalise.

Not that there is anyone out there that really fits either of those criterias, the division is awful, but to their credit the brothers are cleaning up whats out there.

Listen, I only want to see Haye step into the ring with Klitschko. Obviously you hope it won't happen to avoid reality catching up with you. Until then, dream on:hi:

At least the normally always critical Atlas was giving him some credit yesterday. Not enough, but some.

Brian Kenny had to almost force him into it, though. But he still was not giving Wlad (and Vitali) the kind of credit he(they) is due for running the show at heavy, as decisively as he(they) does (do).
