So, you expect a hw Gatti? Sorry but such a fighter won´t be a great champion.
Seriosuly, I prefer someone like Wlad to someone like Haye big time. A nice, intelligent, well, spoken guy is a much better rolemodel than a trash-talking coward.
Coming back after three TKO losses and getting up after beeing knocked down three times to win a fight surely shows hard, doesn´t it?
Wlad fought the best the division has to offer bar the ones who don´t want to get into the ring with him and his brother.

More like the other way round. He wants sport, you want a show. Boxing is a sport not a show.

I have no complaints about either Klitchko brother what so ever. I have complaints about the state the division is in but its not their fault and im sure if a boxer was to give them problems in the ring and made a fight of it wed see much more from them.

Yes indeed, if you want entertainment, just go watch wrestling, staged piledrives, aluminium chairs bashing, and staged acting:D

Actually people here say that if there came another Ali like boxer around today, but without the big mouth or another Holmes they would be labeled as boring.

I like boxers who attack the most, but I also can appreciate skill.
And if it's possible to hit your opponent constantly without getting hit yourself and in the end knock him out > brilliant!
But one thing I've seen the most on this forum is the double standards.
Beïng in total awe over Floyd, who basicly does exactly the same beïng it with more skill (partly due to lower weightclass), and not having the guts to finish his opponent off when he hardly can stay on his feet without support. And then criticize Wlad for beïng boring.
He also doesn't need gift decisions like other greats from the past. Because he just does win almost every round and he rarely leaves the bout in hand of the judges.

I would like to see him take more chances also, but it's his career.
Not every hw is like Foreman, Tyson, Dempsey or Marciano and just start banging away.

Peter was done in the 2nd round, he could have ko'ed him in the 3rd round, he shows no urgency at all and acts as if most of these guys have a chance of beating him. The hw division is full of garbage these days besides the klitschkos, none of their opponents are even in the same league, I'd love if wlad would try and put on a show more often, he has the power to knock these guys out way earlier. If he would start trying to take his opponents head off the entire fight (which he can and even his trainer knows this) then hbo would pick up his fights. The klitschkos are great champions but in all fairness it's boring to watch an unfair fight that drags on, you saw in the 9th that as soon as he started throwing combination's Peter was out cold. Also I believe Vitali is the better of the two brothers and I will always regard him as the best from this era, he rather let wlad have the spotlight though.

I don't see why apparently genuine boxing fans expect to see a boxer-puncher become a brawler just to satisfy them :verysad

It's usually the people who want him to lose expect that. They want him to put himself in a situation where he can be KO'd.
I want to see PBF KO'd, but I don't expect him to fight a power puncher and brawl with him. That would just be stupid.

I don't enjoy watching Wlad because his fights are boring as **** - it's that simple.

I don't expect him to voluntarily make every fight into a war - I'd just like to see him fight less cautiously. Start throwing the right hand earlier, and more often, plus mix up his offence more. Excessive clinching is the thing I hate watching most, so I could happily go without seeing him clinch every time an opponent gets inside.

If he fought like he did against Ray Mercer, I'd be happy. I'm fine with him dominating every opponent - he just doesn't have to bore me to death while doing it.

I should say I enjoy watching Vitali fight.

Bull****. America has the most talented boxer today, Mayweather, and most of us can't stand to watch his boring fights. Try again...
