In the light of all the b****ing about Wlad...

Men and Women are generaly not pleased to see a huge muscled specimen holding and falling all over the place ...they also dont like to see a man who has every physical advantage be so cautious, it strikes as cowardice weakness or fear. Its disconcerting watching a man built like a Warrior mincing his movements and scared to throw a punch, and while all these traits may not have been exhibited last night, we all have all seen this in VKlits past fights.

I generally enjoy Vitali fights and fall asleep during every Wlad fight. I don't care that Wlad wins, but his opposition is so entirely outclassed, that there is no reason he couldn't and should't ko them.

 

Wlad doesnt like to engage too much until his opponent is very tired and then he lets his hands go a bit. The problem is simply fear and his chin, if he had a better chin he would be involved in more exciting fights but he does what he sees he needs to and is now and then pushed by his trainer to do more. I cant see that changing at all, hes always gona soften up his opponent with heavy jabs and straight rights and mix it up if he can later on. Even the german crowd got on his back early rounds when he was doing very little, as long as he remained somewhat active they liked him

 

IMO the only thing worth disliking about Wlad is he clinches and holds opponents down more than he should. This makes for ugly fights. Sure, Ali did it too...and the refs should have stopped him then too.

But I don't blame Wlad for doing it if the refs won't stop him. It's up to boxing authorities to ban these tactics so the sport is more athletic and exciting. If I was Haye or Adamek I would insist on a ref that will penalize holding and go public with this demand if Klitschko balks.
