Wlad, while dominant still looks very vulnerable.

Vulnerable? What's is wrong with you? Peter only landed three flush punches in the entire fight. Holy crap, you haters are completely losing it.

WK did not look vulnerable to me, he looked completely dominate. Very relaxed.

I think the fight last night showed that WK is still progressing as a fighter and that his fundamentals have improved greatly from the first Peter fight.

He needs to spend more time on infighting to become a complete fighter and I think he will improve in that regard.

At least he showed more and more uppercuts, which could really make him deadly (aka Lewis).

The only fighter wlad is vulnerable to is his brother...they'll never fight..

Guy cant get anymore big fights..neither of the klits can..valuev haye and povetkin want 0 parts of these guys...

Adamek might get his...vitali and wlad knock adamek inside of 9

    1. Mike Tyson would have been kryptonite for young Klitschko.

    2. Haye's chin is a serious liability. I see it getting shattered into a million pieces, no matter what strategy he employs. Or, he just loses very wide in a fight with very few punches thrown if he keeps distance all night.

    3. Ain't that the truth. Haye is pathetic.

Now, I'm lookin at this from an all time perspective. It's obvious that in this era, which should be acknowledged with the exception of Vitali, who I think is better than Wlad, and Wlad of course, and from a skill and tallent point at least, Haye, is a very weak era.

In this era, there are few fighters that would give Wlad problems, although I would rather have seen Wlad in with Briggs. I think Vitali takes care of any guys that pose Wlad problems, yet he doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves.

Vitali is the meaner, more confident, while slower and less athletic, more relaxed and better fighter out of the two brothers.

But notice that Peter's slow wide left hook was just flying past Wlad at times. Look at why Sanders had so much success, the speed and athleticism, constant movement and angles. If another guy like that (and don't say Chambers!, Chambers is not explosive, not that athletic, and doesn't actually have great lateral movement, and he's only 208lbs!) The HW division lacks these kind of fighters, that can push the pace, emply a decent jab, move their heads and feet, make is awkward for Wlad.

Povetkin, Haye and to a lesser extent, Adamek are the guys who can punch, jab, and show some movement. Wlad has cleaned out the bums and thats fine, he's beat the guys put in front of him and did what he had to do. But he's not had to face a boxer with great skills and ring IQ for a very long time.

I can't believe what I read... since 2006, W. Klitschko is the BEST
Victories after victories, there still always be someone to discredit him.

Look, if Mayweather most closely represents perfection in the art of boxing, how does Wlad compare?

You can be critical of a fighter. Blind support leads to huge disapointments, and if you gamble, catastrophy.

Hendo, if your argument is based on the assumption that Peter's movement bothered Wlad and negated his Jab you'd be correct if the only thing Wlad did defensively or offensively was jab.. I'm not sure if it was the movement that was bothering Wlad or the fact that he didn't want to take a chance making a 'stab' and wind up opened up for a hook. Peter was spectacular in his ability to absorb punishment, many times he was still throwing hooks after Wlad landed a flush right hand in his face.
What Wlad did was keep Peter bobbing/weaving and tied him up on the inside until Peter exhausted himself, as far as I'm concerned that defensive approach works just as well. A little dull? Perhaps, but it worked.
