Rhodes will be made mandatory for the winner. The winner here are the fans. Its a fight between two come forward bangers with vunrabilitys which almost certainly won't last the distance. In the past we have seen Matthew Hall as simply a banger. He goes in the ring, and walks forward bobbing and wieving looking for the KO. He is exciting to watch but theres been nothing scientific about his aproad. He is a big puncher, but his one dimensional style and lack of a plan b meant he was out hustled, frustrated and stopped by the tricky Anthony Small. His chin is also in question, having been knocked out by Martin Concepcion in the 1st round 2 years ago. Sicne the loss to Small, Hall has changed trainers, joining up with Anthony Farnell. It will be intresting to see if Farnell has been able to add anything to Hall's game in the 6 months they have had together. Czech Lukas Konecny is tough and rugged. Ranked in the top 10 by the IBF and WBO, its a great opportunity for Hall to getcrash the world scene and establish himself as a top prospect once again. Konecny, a world class amateur who went to the Olympics and won Bronze medals at the world championships cannot be under estimated. He is a come forward fighter who will meet Hall square on. His best days may be behind him though, having had over 250 amateur fights, and coming close to his 50th in the pros. He has won allot of fights, but has come up short in his biggest fights. Konecny will start as the favourite, and rightfully so. Hall has never faced anyone on his level and has come up unstuck agaisn worse opponents. The hope for UK fans will be that Konecny has aged, and is struggling at the weight, seeing as his last 2 fights were at Middleweight. If thats the case, Halls relenless style could being a nightmare for the Czech. ERM, NOT SURE ABOUT THIS ONE THOUGH YOUV DONE YOUR HOMEWORK ROB PALMER. STILL SLIGHTLY ONE SIDED YOUR OPINION. I THINK ILL GO THE WAY OF HALL. WHAT ABOUT YOU ROB PALMER, WHO YOU GOING FOR? THE SAFE BET? EVEN THO YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY PUT YOUR EXCUSES OUT INCASE LK LOSES, "50 FIGHTS" ETC. DO YOU ACTUALLY WANT A YOUNG ENGLISH PROSPECT TO DO WELL ON THE EURO SCENE OR ARE YOU MORE CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR PREDICTIONS FOR YOUR LEAGUE TABLE. (serious question).
Koncenky round 7 stoppage. Never been on the floor in his pro career dont know if Hall is over the bad Small KO
