are you saying vargas wasn't a quality win for trinidad?

    that was a super fight!!

    both undefeated champs.

vargas came into that fight with wins over...

    yori boy campas
    raul marquez
    winky wright
    ike quartey

    that was a quality win!
why does everyone think that you have to be a HOF'er or ATG in order for it to be a quality win??

naz was one of barrera's biggest wins.. is he a HOF'er?

m.griffin was a good win for jones jr.. is he a HOF'er?

vuyani bungu was good win for naz.. is he a HOF'er?

the list goes on and on...

some people are just straight up moron's.

Vargas had beat Winky when he was like 5 years old. Hernandez is hugely under-rated.

Maybe I did'nt make myself clear.
My post was directed toward the posters here that had lined up names that DLH had fought......among them were Vargas and Hernandez in DLH's column.

Vargas imo was no longer quality when he is fighting DLH. Vargas' winning but poor performances post Trinidad bare that.

......the same with "Chicanitio" Hernandez fighting DLH.
Beating a fragile handed poor punching career 130 pounder like Chicanito at 135 lbs is not quality.

There is'nt any defined muscle mass on Chicanito's body. Chicanito did'nt even make the lightweight limit for DLH's fight.
Chicanito was overfed and could only came in at 133 lbs for that DLH fight.

Beating a fighter who never fought at 135 lbs before or after is not a quality win for a lightweight champion to lay claim too.

Now, had Hernandez after his defeat to DLH gone on to later lay claim and been a force in that lightweight division, then there would have been some credence to lay claim that DLH win over Chicanito was quality.
    ......but thats not what happened.
What happened is that Hernandez dropped right back down to the 130 lbs division where he belonged, and finished his career there.

    Yori Boy Campos 56-0
    Oba Carr 32-0
    Oscar De La Hoya 31-0
    Fernando Vargas 20-0
    David Reid 14-0
    Pernell Whitaker 42-2
    Hector Camacho 43-2

Lost 3 fights against Hall of Famers in higher weight class , Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright, and Roy Jones Jr.

Oscar fought Campos, Vargas, Mayorga, Camacho, Carr..After they where defeated by Trinidad.

Maybe not the best, but impressive.
